Any flick that stars Julia Roberts!
The Family Stone has very little in common with Meet the Parents.  It is a drama, not a comedy, though they mistakenly played up the comedy in the previews.
The Family Stone. Such an air of pretentiousness around it. It clearly thinks it's Meet the Parents except deeply intellgent, knowing and revealing.

Also it seems to think that it's funny and original.
brokeback and davinci code
The sequel to Charlie's Angels.  The first one was torture sitting through.

Huh?  Disney sequels are generally very low budget, direct to video c**p.

Tom Cruise-itus?

Mission Impossiable III
I can't honestly say there is any film I know of that I refuse to watch. Guess I might be too open minded, and try to view the positive sides of what I do see. I know for sure I could never walk out of a movie I paid to see in the theatre.
Freddy's Dead was a mess though, but I'm sure I'll even return to that eventually.
Remakes of Asian horror films and anything done by UWE MOFO BOLL
stanton heck wrote: For the record "casablanca" and "citizen kane" are great movies

So are the Lord of the Rings movies.  Just because you don't like them does not mean they are not great.
For the record "casablanca" and "citizen kane" are great movies

All great movies have their detractors.  I've never understood how people can vote (on IMDB) films like Casablance, Citizen Kane, or the LOTR movies as 1s.

Because most of the members on that site are prepubescent kids and teenagers who are entertain by c**ppy movies such as Uwe Boll's movies, Stay Alive and many others.

r you kiddin me hostel was amazing but the dvd has no extras not even deleted scenes
The Harry Potter films. Hate them so much.
My wife loves those Lifetime channel movies and we have a few DVDs on the shelves for them and I avoid them like 5th period Advanced Physics.  She also loves the Olsen twins which kills me.  When they do Playboy I may watch 1 of their movies.  Til then, I'll stick with something that I'm interested in.

Glad to see that I am not the only one.  I watch just about everything.
Wow.  I honestly can name a list of actors I am annoyed by, but I can not say I would never watch a movie, just because they were in it.  Same with the producer or the director.  Sequals don't bother me, some are still good.  I could not judge a movie only on the title having a '2' in the title.

I guess I am saying I would attempt to watch anything, and not judge a film before I saw it, and then refuse to watch it again.
C**ppy teen horror, comedy, and drama movies like the When a stranger calls, Boogeyman, Date Movie, Charlie's Angels, Final Destination Series, White Noise etc. Anything with martin lawrence, chris rock, jimmy fallon, vin diesel, drew barrymore there's too many to list here but you get my point.
Remakes, sequels(there are exceptions), anything starring or directed by Mel Gibson.
Jim Carrey has gotten on my last nerve
If it has Jenifer Lopez I won't see it
and you forgot
Confessions Of a Dangerous Mind
Syriana (it's gonna be great, comes out over here next week, I think)
Good Night And Good Luck (amazing film,he underplays it so brilliantly)
Spy Kids
Sadly he's doing Ocean 13!!!
Adrian wrote: The only bad movies I would say are Batman & Robin (and you can hardly pin all the blame on Clooney for that one) and the Peacemaker.Don't forget Ocean's 12.
I'd add Ocean's Eleven, Three Kings, Intolerable Cruelty, and Good Night and Good Luck to that list Floyd.  And that isn't really a bad percentage since he really hasn't stared in that many movies.  Most of his movies are quite watchable, even if they aren't excellent movies.  I enjoyed Solaris, but then again I liked the original soviet movie as well.  The Perfect Storm and Welcome to Collinwood were also enjoyable movies.  The only bad movies I would say are Batman & Robin (and you can hardly pin all the blame on Clooney for that one) and the Peacemaker.
George Clooney's has only done four good films in his entire career.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? - Excellent
South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut - funny as f**k
Out of Sight - V good
From Dusk Till Dawn - Excellent

George Clooney kicks ass.

He has does tons of great films and one of my alltime fav films he is the star and that is...
FROM DUSK TILL DAWN

An intelligent response from one of his fans.
Spoof movies, Airplane and Naked Gun and possibly Hot Shots, were the only spoofs that were funny, now we have the Scary Movie series and now Date movie, and they lack one thing that the classic Airplane and Naked Gun movies had.  COMEDY!!!
Remakes! Why bother!
Oh and movies like Brokeback Mountain and chick flick dramas - only because I find them so boring...
And before the backlash, I have seen the trailer for Brokeback and it looks terrible!
Ryan Bisram wrote: Any of the LOTR movies.

Yeah, I'm serious.

Their amazing epic masterpieces

I think any movie with Hillary Duff is soemthing to avoid.
Skeleton Key is not horror.  It is suspense and it is very well done.  You should give it a shot.

I'll continue boycotting New York Minute and any future Olsen twin movies.  Very Happy
Braindead -worst movie i'v ever seen.
Any c**p American made horro (like house of wax, skeleton key)
Charlies Angels (any of them)
Hostel
Any of the LOTR movies.

Yeah, I'm serious.
Pretty close to boycotting anything in which George Clooney is even remotely involved. I can't stand the b*****d.
So far I have refused to see Forest Gump, but seeing as it is the only movie on the AFI 100 Movies that I haven't seen, I guess I will see it sometime.  I need that sense of completion.  Wink
Alien:Director's Cut in Full Screen X 10. completely ruined the film
Because everything is black and white, duh. Wink
stanton heck wrote: Thst man should still be in jail and not making movies

Why?  He was tried, did his time, and the criminal justice center was satisfied that he had served enough time.  Why shouldn't he be allowed to get on with his life and go back to his profession?
Thst man should still be in jail and not making movies
You know that the dude who made Powder was a convicted Paedofile who spent years in prison.
The Hitcher was written by a "murderer".

Bodhi, you should read my Devil's Rejects review, I know you and I have a somewhat simular taste in film.

floyd dylan wrote: Jeepers Creepers films, as it was directed by a convicted paedophile
Had no idea he was a pedophile, but I gotta say I enjoyed both films.
I wouldn't watch any

Hugh Grant Movies
British Romantic Comedies
American romantic comedies
New age S**ty american teen horror
Nicole Kidman movies

Which isn't really saying much.  I wish Zombie would go back to music.  I've heard his ambition is to give up music and direct full time.  Big mistake as far as I am concerned, especially if he keeps casting his wife!

"Hostel II" I am sure it will be made but I will refuse to have any part of it
I cant watch anything directed by Michael Winterbottom. I vowed not too after watching 'I want you' - a godawful film.

Its annoying that I am so stubborn as I quite fancy watching 'cock and bull story' but wont let myself do it!
In terms of films I've never seen before, I have no interest in watching:

Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle
Tomb Raider 2
2 Fast 2 Furious

(spotting a pattern here?)

Initially I had no interest in watching The Devil's Rejects (because I would rather eat my own vomit than watch the first film again), but I've been told that the sequel's decent.

I guess you don't watch Polanski films either?
Mal

Would other crimes be included in that film watching filter? Happy

I would say the Taxi remake too, every time I heard about it the film sounded worse and worse.
Out of those 2 crimes which do you consider the worst? Paedophilia or dircting Jeepers Creepers. You don't have to answer that. I am just joking.
Jeepers Creepers films, as it was directed by a convicted paedophile
No. We are Legion.
I thought I was the only one who didn't like Martin Lawerence.
Blair Witch

Van Helsing

Anything starring Martin Lawrence.

Ditto that Whoopi Goldberg.

And David Spade.

H. Potter films.

Maid in Manhatten. Or anything with Lopez in it. Damn her for being in U-Turn and Out of Sight.
Brokeback was an amzing film
Shrek and its sequels... ugh... never watch them again.
Any stupid horror movies like Scream, Scary movies, Final Destination, etc and any stupid comedies that are a waste of time! like that Deuce Bigalow movies.
Battlefield Earth, sorry I would go near anything l ron hubbard touched
Brokeback Mountain.  But within the last week I've read that many Academy members aren't seeing the picture and one of the screenwriters has relatives that refuse to see it.  And before somebody accuses me of being a homophobe let me tell you that I am looking forward to seeing Capote and my favorite rock star is David Bowie who, while he is married to Iman now, has had quite a colored past.  I'll see Brokeback Mountain when they remake it with John Wayne and Gary Cooper.

FADE IN:
