I would love to see a remake of Jason and the Argonauts if only done well.  That was such a cool movie in its time.

hmmm - that's a scarey topic you have started.... Remakes usually suck with very few exceptions.
Especially when they take the charm out of them...

NO MORE REMAKES!

This year is apparently the biggest flop since 1985 and its all due to REMAKES! Almost every movie is an unoriginal idea. NO MORE I SAY!

I know Floyd has already said it, but the Star Wars prequels would be a good start... Perhaps we could hire a director who knows how to work with actors and considers them to be an important part of the film-making process, rather than fleshy puppets to be inserted into his digital wet dreams after the fact...

1985 wasn't a flop year, it had Back to the Future.

Or maybe Lucas should just remake the OT for himself. I know I'm not the first person to bring this up, but I honest think it'd be a good idea. Then he could remove the changes he made in the current OT, but still be satisfied with the continuities lining up, making it a true six part series rather than the seprate trilogies we have now. Then the people who don't like the PT can ignore it all together, as it will officially have no bearing on their precious OT.

I'm quoting a report I saw on TV from CNN or ABC about a week before Batman Begins opened. I thought the same thing originally, but thinking back on it, Back to the Future was the only over the top huge movie I can think of from 1985.
