I wondered that too why I couldn't find an article for:
Rebound
Devil's Rejects
Supercross
Sky High
Undiscovered (I don't want to know)
and Hustle and Flow
I heard that the Fantastic Four release date changed too.
They're probably busy for transferring content to DVDActive.

I would say there are some legal ramifications here. I doubt that they can disclose news unless it is directly disclosed to them. Just because cover art is available to some, doesn't mean it is public domain.
To answer a few questions -
Big retailers usually get notification of releases first. Usually they have talks directly with the studio / manufacturer. After all, they ARE the one's selling the product.
DVDanswers puts up announcements as the press release comes in. No release, no announcement. Plus, there's only so many people running the site. If no one feels compelled to put up a release for Sky High, it's not getting get announced.
I'm sure the actual staff have better answers, but that's the gist of it.

Yeah, quite often retailers etc have info first - but, like Johnny says, we tend to wait for the official announcement before adding anything. That way we don't have to back track like mad when early news turns out to be a load of rubbish.
On top of all that, we're essentially running two sites at once at the moment, what with DVDActive being so close. For example I've been remaking larger screencaps for all my reviews (around 40), which takes quite a bit of time. The same applies to Chris. Therefore we might be a little slower with news for the next week or two. Things will be back to normal soon enough though don't worry

I just "visited" DVDActive, and now apparently you aren't opening it until November? O, well, I suppose the longer we wait the better the site'll be, but I can't wait to see it! :D
There's sometimes legal problems. Every so often a studio or distributor's legal department place unreasonable demands on us (on top of normal stuff) that effectively conflict with copyright fair use. When this happens we just pull the material offline, and they realise that they've gone too far.
DVDActive, eh? Can't wait for that!
You would think that the studios would love the FREE publicity....
I spose these people also cause double dipping issues as well :clown:

Now the ads are from Amazon, so do they get the DVD arts first, or what happens?
Keep up the good work though, guys.
