there has already been confirmation that a saw 2 uncut version will be out for retail DLB confirmed that on the saw 2 dvd comentary, as for r2 I think that there will also be availble the same time!
Saw 1 and the uncut version were not available at the same time. I believe the first dvd was out in Februrary, just like Saw II, then the uncut came out in October in time for the theatrical release of Saw II. Thus, Saw II uncut will be announced probably sometime this summer and available in October for Saw III.

I have to agree there. I just wish they'd include a free ticket for Saw III in there with it like the Mission: Impossible SE does for M:I III.

Free movie tickets are awesome! I have seen Saw 2 and Final Destination 3 with free movie tickets from free tickets in dvds, and will be seeing MI:3 and Saw III for sure should it come with one. I would have also liked to have seen Ice Age 2 with the free movie ticket from the "Super Cool" edition, but its a damn children's ticket! Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is age discrimation!

It's strange because last year with the release of SAW 1 both versions were out together.. Now with SAW 2 we have only one version...
