whos gonna buy munich collectors edition? im just curious as to who will buy it. As for me I just ordered it.

I'd take DVD Empire with a grain of salt.  Several times, I have tried to order discs that were either out of print or going out of print from them and they always reported "On Order" (like they currently are for the 2 disc Munich set) and they never filled the orders.  I am not sure why they do this, as they don't charge you for it.  You won't lose anything, but are not very likely to get the DVD either.

At the present moment it becomes available on Amazon again...

emmm...well, doesn't some shop in Poland sell R1 DVDS

In Thailand loads of shop imported R1, R4 DVDS...like loads, but the point is Universal Collector's Edition are all not available since it's so rare they couldn't order it in time...

That means universal only targeted to sell 1-disc, 2-disc is very limitedly produced...

So try eBay, some take cheque...

I guess they are starting to figure out that genuinely limited releases bring an element of quality - they sell quickly and at a full preorder price (means distributor makes loads, retailer makes next to nothing).

It's one of the reasons I have only purposely bought limited editions from Korean and Hong Kong retailers where distributors regularly do runs of a couple of thousand. I often see these sorts of titles going on ebay for several times their original value.

Mine from DeepDiscount mysteriously got cancelled, so I had to file again.  I went with Target.com on this one.  Who knows if I'll get it?  :D

is the SE set not in stores?

I think it's US only, otherwise the popular Canadian based retailers that people in the UK mostly use would have it in stock.

What about Walk The Line?

In case anyone is interested, Walk The Line is coming out on 2 Disc in Region 4, if you missed out in Region 1.

I hate to brag too, but I have all three of Cinderella Man CE, Jarhead 2 disc CE, and Munich 2 disc LE. Living in the city that I do, I must be lucky, dvds don't sell out to fast. Heck, my BB still has two copies of the Cinderella Man CE in stock. I even have them all three together on the shelf in a row
