"Munich" is a very good movie I saw it once that was enough.
Good news and bad news. Bad news is that demand for the "Munich" Limited Edition exceeded Universal's supply. That is why the stock is currently out of print. No need to worry, according to Digitalbits.com, the Limited Edition will be back on shelves when Universal make more later this year.
Here...
Speaking of Universal, we've been getting reports from readers that the studio's Munich: Limited Edition is MIA in stores. Indeed, it seems no longer to be available from Amazon.com. We've got inquiries into the studio as to what's up with the release and we'll let you know when they get back to us. You can, however, still widely find the movie-only version in stores (and online) if you prefer it. [Editor's Note: We've learned that the 2-disc version hasn't been cancelled and it isn't defective. Demand was simply much higher than expected, so retailers have had to order more copies from Universal. You should find the title back in stores soon]

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a Limited Edition?

Actually, it does. The way they are marketing these, ala Cinderella Man and Jarhead, is to pretty much preorder them because they go out of stock immediately. This insures that you are paying maximum price for them. If they keep issuing them, retailers will eventually discount them.

You'll be waiting a long time. Seriously, if past history is any thing to go buy, the multi disc sets where there is also something less available rarely go down in price or sale for cheap used.

Anyone know what's happening with the R2 UK edition. I keep seeing that there seem to be some featurettes on the disc on some sites and not on others. Plus It's not clear if the extras are present whether it's a 2 discer.
I just recieved the R1 SE from amazon. Beautiful digipak with a really nice booklet, I haven't watched the extras yet, but the introduction is very informative, and the A/V quality is excellent.
I also, just got mine today (all the way from California). It was worth it.
It's available again at Barnes & Noble. Get it while you can!

I can back that. I phoned the HMV and they said that it was, and I quote the person on the phone "Discontinued in Canada, we can't order any, They must've changed their minds."
I love it, we can't get our covers the way we like 'em, we can't get the editions we want. What next? CanaDVDa, the Canadian DVD experience, eh.
Well, I'm sorry for that last rant, just thought I would let my fellow Canadians know.
