Will upcoming Batman Boxset be on region 2?
Does anyone have any info at all regarding this? I agree that we region 2 users are the better ones off as far as artwork is concerned on the new special editions, but I, like others, would still very much like for the anthology boxset to be released on region 2 as well as region 1. Will this happen?

Not the batman anthology, but collector's editions are.

That's very disappointing. I was hoping to be able to own them all (yes, even B&R) in one awesome boxset. Oh, well.

Anyone else share my disappointment?

If I lived in the U.K, I'd be disapointed too.

I don't believe it, why should the US get the boxset while the UK doesn't?

There's a boxed set listed on Amazon, but it comes out before the new discs and looks to be the old versions. Here's the link.

This is beyond disappointing if it is true, it is unfair. I will be optimistic though, as it makes little sense for Warner to only release the boxset in the US and not the UK, I cannot remember it happening before.

Would someone be able to contact Warner Home Video via email and enquire?

One odd thing, though. Over at play.com, they have the 4 disc 'Batman Collection' boxset listed as available now, I mean the one with the dark blue box that was once only available at HMV, however they have a boxset entitled the 'Batman Legacy' due for release in October, and although the extras listed for it only include production notes (like the current releases) it seems to make little sense to release two versions of the same boxset, the only difference being the slightly different boxart on the two. Hopefully, there has been a mistake made, and maybe this boxset WILL include the special editions.
