You can send me a load of menu shots if you want Disciple
Unfortunately I don't have a dvd program that enables me to take screen caps. I can't seem to get it to work. I'll see what I can do about it though.
I'll probably get mine on Tuesday.
I might be getting both HK Digipak and HK w/ comic book for this one. They both are nice!!
Thanks for posting this. I'm really looking forward to this release... thought it was the best of the trilogy.
No problem. I just realised I have to buy yet another release of this as the R1 DVD doesn't have any behind-the-scenes stuff at all. Have to buy one of the 2-disc releases availible on R2 or R4.
Does it come with my 9 dollars back? Or a personal apology from Fox?

No, but I heard there'll be a Best Buy exclusive that comes with a free poke in the eye.

Oh, I already got one of those, it was the only way I could make it through the second half without crying. In all actuality I may end up buying this someday and simply stoping the DVD the moment Wolverine makes his little "we can do it" speach.
Gabe, I've read your comments on the film on several threads and I'm beginning to think you might not be as fond of it as you let on.
It's my Phantom Menace. It isn't even that bad, it just s**ts all over itself and wastes the nearly perfect film that came before it, not to mention it's own good first half. I'd rather it was all bad than half great.
as i'm not Gabe's lawyer..i have to agree with him 100%...X1 was ok, X2 was great....X3- realy bad movie.
Gabe, I'm taking note that you just said that X3 isnt that bad and will likely bring it up every time in the future that you mention the film.
Sincerely hope you're not the one to review any of the X3 releases on Active. If so, I'd have to attempt my own review just to counterbalance the hate.

Just wanted to add that the sticker on the front of the clear slip case is pretty hard to remove as the glue tends to stick to the case. You'll be forced to spend a great deal of time on removing this if you want it to look ok.
I think I'll do the same with the 6-Disc pack that I managed to pre-order ages ago for GBP 14.00
EDIT:

2-disc with DTS

20th Century Fox new release DVD's are the worst offenders. The wrapper also sticks on the spine of the cover.
To get rid of the gluey stains on top of the DVD cover, place the sticker on the affected areas and peel off. Keep on with this process, and you can even use fresh sticy tape for this task. Stick on and peel off until all the sticky spots are gone.

Don't worry Dustin...but it looks like Chris might be attempting to get a copy, and he hated it only slightly less than me. I could write a 4,000 word essay on what was wrong and right with the film, but I don't have the time right now...you should see all the B-horror movies sitting next to my TV right now.

Thanks for the advice but I have actually already tried that and it works perfectly well. I know what you mean about the wrappers sticking to the spine. That's the worst case scenario there. Although Fox is far from the worst offenders, that honor has to be given to Anchor Bay Entertainment.
I also have a surprise for you:
The back of the box that houses the keep case and the comic is removable. This is what's underneath:

Oh, sorry CE buyers, but you'll have to stand (pun very much intended) the same horrible artork as the standard edition. I can confirm that wolverines suit does indeed look like it has a pink/purple tint to it.
