X-Men 3 The Last Stand
I found this info from The Hollywood Reporter saying that X-Men: The Last Stand will hit DVD on October 3 in two editions:

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is expected to announce Friday that "X-Men: The Last Stand," which since its May 26 theatrical opening has grossed $233 million at the boxoffice, will arrive on DVD on Oct. 3 in two extras-laden special editions.

The highlight of the third "X-Men" movie's DVD debut: three alternative endings, each with optional commentary by director Brett Ratner. The single-disc DVD release also includes 10 deleted scenes; audio commentaries from Ratner, the writers and the producers; a preview of the upcoming Ben Stiller movie "A Night at the Museum;" and two hidden "Easter eggs," one of the Beast reciting Shakespeare and the other of the X-Jet landing in Washington.

Fox also is preparing a collector's edition that includes an exclusive 100-page commemorative book with an all-new story penned by Marvel Comics master Stan Lee. It is his first original Marvel Comics book in five years.

In addition, Fox is packaging all three "X-Men" movies into a trilogy pack.

So will one of the deleted scenes be a better movie?

The release date has been on Fox's PR website for a week or more. Couldn't be arsed to add it as there are no other details at the moment. Anyway, it's not at the top of my shopping list...

Amusingly, the Fox site also has details of the fifth season of '25' Wink

Has anyone actually read something by Stan Lee lately.  His style is worse than it was 40 years ago.  He was always a decent 'idea' guy, but his story telling was very amatureish.

I'll get the bigger version of the release here for the extra stuff.  Although, I agree they could've used the plots in this movie for three different movies, and it all felt a liitle crushed in there, I still liked it.

Here is something I'd like to add. The Region 4 release (18th October) has almost totally different set of Special Features on the 2 Disc set - and 1 extra deleted scene???

Found this through http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/788067

Choose through 4+ hours of X-citing X-tras between two menu sets: X-Men and Brotherhood!

X-Men Menu:

Director’s commentary
11 deleted scenes
2 alternate endings
1 easter egg
Brotherhood Menu:
Writer’s commentary
11 deleted scenes
1 alternate ending
1 easter egg
Disc Two:
Director Brett Ratner’s production diary
Documentary on evolution of X-Men Trilogy
3 featurettes, including making of Golden Gate Bridge scene
8 vignettes on special effects, fly training, weapons
And much more!

Can anyone explain here???
