Picked Up "Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor" (US) and "Mamma Mia" (US)
Here's mine. It's small, but growing. I don't think I replace many DVDs with BDs, but just start buying BDs from now on.
I got a player today, it came with three free movies:
I, Robot
Kingdom of Heaven
The Devil Wears Prada (that's gonna be my sister's)

Don't own a Blu Ray player. So I don't have a collection of Blue Ray disks, just DVD's. Happy I could contribute to the discussion...hehe
Bought today - Eagle Eye and The Women. As I predicted, both arrived two weeks early. Also saw Burn After Reading, GhostTown and The Duchess in store but will get them another time.
Here is a nice pic of my beautiful purchases today. I'm now finding it strange to hear that I can get some of January releases before Christmas.

I have just found a new Blu Ray website/Forum that is way cool!!! You not only get news, but get to chat with other Blu Ray lovers and you get your own Blu Ray Collection built into your profile. Nice!!!

The Dark Knight: 2-Disc + Digital Copy
The Dark Knight: Limited Edition with Batpod
Made of Honor
The BatPod looks great, tested the disc and the IMAX scenes are incredible. I had doubts about the shifting rations, but turns out it doesn't bother you at all. The timing and the way they managed to do it is exceptional, very well done in this respect!

Thought you guys should know, Warner Bros. has announced some old catalog titles in production for release on Blu in April....
Quote:
Warner Home Video has announced that they will bring 10 of their most popular catalog titles to Blu-ray on April 7th. These titles include 'The Wedding Singer: Totally Awesome Edition', 'American History X', 'Final Destination', 'Point of No Return', 'Taking Lives: Extended Cut', 'Tango & Cash', '2010: The Year We Made Contact', 'Above the Law', 'John Q ', and 'Collateral Damage'.
The majority of the titles will come on BD-25s, with the only known exception being 'American History X', which will come on a BD-50. Extras are also mostly unknown, though we do know the follow information:

I got The Dark Knight yesterday. I can't wait to watch it. I already have the digital copy on iTunes.
Somebody told me that my original link didn't work, so I'll try this...

Otherwise, my signature should work.

Oh I got the Glass LE one so it could easily crack during shipping. My Schindler's List LE broke during shipping before so yeah it's good this one didn't.
I got my Dark Knight Bluray steelbook delivered on Christmas eve, that was a lovely present. The one with the burning bat logo on it, not the batpod.
So two versions of The Dark Knight for you BoBoi? There musn't be a recession going on down under

I got a player for Christmas with the following movies: 2001: a Space Odyssey, Dark Knight, Kill Bill (both volumes), and Wall-E. Also just bought Eagle Eye and Firefly. Will be buying the Grindhouse movies as soon as I can.
I ordered Firefly: The Complete Series, but it won't get here for a while.

I went through 4 of those!!! It took about 6 phone calls for the US company to send it out to me properly in Australia (that is pack it so it wouldn't break).
Everytime I had to ship it back, they would credit me the shipping costs. I always seemed to get back a bit more than what it cost me to ship - due to a weird way they were calculating the exchange rate - and eventually I was credited back the price of the disc as well....

Too bad you know some of these companies have never heard of 'bubble wrap' before '

Funny thing happened to me this week. My retailer got sent an advanced copy of "Passengers" on Blu Ray Disc, even though it is not supposed to be out till May 12th!! So I bought it (The only copy), and now I have if not the only copy two months in advance. Can't watch it though. "Passengers" is region locked. But not to worry. I have a brand new Multizone Blu Ray Disc Player on the way. Just waiting for my supplier to release a new model. It is not made by one of the major brands. It is made locally in Australia. In times like these, you need to support jobs in your country, not buy products that are made elsewhere, especially China!!
I also bought Quantum of Solace, also region locked. I'll be watching both in a few weeks anyway, so bought both QOS and Passengers to keep for later.

Never like any product from China to be honest, although I must say that they have pretty delicious food lol.

US BD
Akira: First Press
King Kong
W.
The Bank Job
Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition
Tropic Thunder + Eagle Eye (Amazon -$10 Promotion)
UK BD
Alpha Dog
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
Funny Games
Man on Wire

Mark, what brand is the Blu-Ray player that you are buying here? How have they made it region free?
