Alien Quadrilogy is the best SE I've ever seen.

If I could keep only one, it would be my new purchase; Platoon 20th anniversary edition.

I think Sin City is the best SE out there but everyone has their own opinions.

actually it's not at all but it's damn solid.
I personally think they best are...
Heathers (the doc is just brilliant)
Angel Heart (just packed and packed and packed and it's one disc and the transfer is great)
Brazil CRITERION (best film ever made and the first truely great SE)
Do The Right Thing CRITERION (has everything and more and a commentary with Ebert would have made it the my fav criterion cause I know he loves that film)
From Dusk Till Dawn (i personally think it's a better SE then Sin City)

and some more

The Ultimate Matrix Set mixed with the Alien Quadrilogy are top of the line, for me.

Dusk Till Dawn has a GREAT SE, because it's not some promotional c**p.  That documentary levels with the viewer, Tarantino chats about unions and such in it.  GREAT insight on the biz.

The Alien Quadrilogy is exhaustive but I think top honours need to go to the LOTR EE's. Comprehensive and made with an obvious respect for the project and fans alike.
