Apparently a patch for the game is now in compliance testing at Microsoft and should be available to download from XBOX Live early next week, so maybe thousands of other people and I who bought a broken game will finally be able to play it. Remember the good 'ol days when console games were actually tested thoroughly since there was no way to patch them?

Beware of MLB 2K6 on XBOX 360 Just bought this game earlier in the week...the day it was released actually...and have had nothing but problems trying to play it. Everytime I go to play a game, the XBOX freezes after the first inning and I have to 'reboot' the XBOX. After looking around the internet it's apparent that a lot of people have been having a very similar problem. Take Two Interactive seems to be aware of the problem and have issued a 'work around', one which doesn't seem to work for me, until a patch can be made available. Way to go guys...be the one video game maker to get an exclusive license for Major League Baseball on the 360 and totally screw it up.

Bulls**t. To release a game with QA like this is inexcusable. I paid $60+ for a game that doesn't work and I can't return. Major Bulls**t. I'll never purchase another one of their games again.
