Yeah but even that's just a port, nowt original. And that only came out within the past few months...no doubt in response to people thinking Nintendo was 'too kiddy'!

you're insane.. Res Evil has been around for about a year.. hardly a port either.. 60-70% new. Nintendo is about proper games that are fun. Far far too many of the PS2 games are just totally awful. If Sony had provided a decent SDK for it when it was released (like they did with the PS1) then it might have been a good console.. but its just far too hard to write games for.

don't be so ignorant.. the graphics are totally dependent on the game and nothing to do with nintendo (except with their own titles). Ok Mario and Zelda are catroony, but they are supposed to be.. they arent meant to be realistic, where as Res Evil is very realistic. Rogue leader wasnt cartoony either however Super Monkey Ball was because it needed to be. All consoles cater to a large audiance, and you are just bitter than my nintendo wipes the floor technically and gameplay wise than your ps2 The PS3 on the other hand, might be good again.

technically better means nowt...gamecube may be technically better than a zx spectrum but its not going to be remembered in the same way! and yeah...ps3 should kick some arse providing they dont just churn out sequel after sequel (except perhaps more metal gear solid action!)

yeah, i agree that it's a bit short..same prob i had with the original. still, its some of the most original gameplay around coupled together with some pretty smart graphics. Is raven shield the one using the UT engine or something? I'd check it out but dont think my p200 is up to it!

Not sure if it is Unreal or not but its a really decent looking game. Quite a few bugs in the demo but the actual game isnt due out until Feburary.. Really looking forward to it

On the "kiddy" subject, what does it matter what a game looks like? Gameplay is the important factor, and to dismiss something for just being colourful and bright is a typical fanboy view, most often from PS2 owners it seems, who can only name a handful of good games for the PS2 that are exclusive to the format .
