I though Region 4 (Aussie DVDs) should play without your player being hacked.

Many discs are encoded with region 2 & 4 but some are region 4 only...

Try Googling the product code of your TV/DVD player along with "region crack" and if it's possible, you should be able to find a page with a work-around

I have a Philips television with a built-in DVD player but it will not allow me to watch DVD's that I purchased in Australia. Is there a way round this.
