RoboCop must've brought you a Hell of a lot of bagels...
I have now played The English Patient 324 times and all the data is still there!!! And I finally learned to enjoy it as well (after the 286th viewing)
I would worry more as to what I am going to play my DVDs on before I think of the data not being there.
Maybe the best way to answer it is "how long is a piece of string"?
Don't.. Know..How..Long..I..Can..Keep..Watching..English..Patient
Room is spinning, feeling weak. Damn data won't disappear
Robocop: Bring Bagels. Hurry

Wha..Sorry, dozed off re-watching The English Patient. I think all the data was there. Have to check again to make sure. If you don't hear from me, call the police
OH MY GOD! I can't take it!
And? Don't leave us in suspense Stubby!
I just played all my DVDs and they still work.
I'll do it again tomorrow
In theory the technology should last 100 years but I have read around 8 or so - depends on how you take care of it, how the DVD itself was made, etc.....
All videotapes from the twentieth century were destroyed in 2443, during the second coming of Jesus.

Or who is going to come to your home to wipe your bottom and wash u.
I've been to the future and back. DVD data lasts 64 years. The big fashion trend of the 2060's is DVD earrings

Who cares?
If it's anything near the 100 year mark chances are you'll be dead or will have replaced them with holodeck technology or have been destroyed in WW:XIIXX or or or
How long can the data(movie) last on a DVD?
I got a question about DVD in general. I want to know how long the data(the movie) on a DVD can last?
I have read many different answers between 10-15, 20-30, 50-100 years It seems that know one knows for real and all has different opinions on the matter.
But do anyone know what the real answer is, if you keep them save from scratches and sunlight how long do the movie last on a DVD?
