One year with DVDAnswers
The 28th will mark one year of me writting for DVDAnswers. Only 31 reviews so far. I think I can do better than that in the next year, hopefully I won't be having as much down time. This is way cool, by the way.

It's kind of been out for awhile. Don't tell anyone but it's called DVDActive. Anyway, I've only been here for more than two months.

I know that secretly Tom is waiting for my One Year Anniversary next month as the launch date for the new site. I didn't have to bribe him or anything.

I'd like to say thank you to all at DVDanswers, for not only keeping me up to date with Region 1 releases but for also the general discussions forum where you can ask anything about dvd's, home theatre, movies, etc,of you're not sure about something, and there'll always be some genius to help you.
I now have my Dream Home Theatre complete!! Thank you to those who have helped me with getting my cinema specs better than my last, especially Adam (Worst Nightmare).
I also find it entertaining discussing about each other's dvd collections, fave movies, etc.

The 10th of October will mark my 1 year anniversary here as well. While others go to different DVD sites, this is the only one I go to. This is the site that is bookmarked on my toolbar for easy access. I love the site and I love the community we got here. Keep up the good work guys!

Almost certainly next month. We're just beginning to transfer content over to Active (shhh!) now. We're planning on creating new images for a lot of our reviews too which slows things down a bit. I imagine we'll be 'officially' announcing it very soon though anyway...

Oh and by the way, on this new site, will there be a way to track your posts and see what you said? Just an idea as we are on the topic....
Almost certainly yeah, although probably not for launch. There probably won't be a great deal of new features initially. The comments and forums should be a lot nicer to look at though!
Well the whole site is new, so I guess that counts as a new feature I'm very keen to see what people think of the new look. I think it's more user friendly and a lot 'cleaner' than this existing site. Huge improvements to the layout as well (well I think so). I know that a lot of work has gone into it behind the scenes so far, although a lot of that might not be obvious to the caual visitor.
