We got two in the World Series including your pals in Canada.
But I'm confused. Who's  part of the British Empire now? Is that any different from the British Commonwealth? Or are you counting every country that puts a "u" in the word color? Please enlighten this former colonial.

 Anguilla
 Ascension Island
 Bermuda
 British Indian Ocean Territory
 British Virgin Islands
 Cayman Islands
 Channel Islands
 Falkland Islands
 Gibraltar
 Isle of Man
 Montserrat
 Pitcairn Islands
 Saint Helena
South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands
 Tristan da Cunha
 Turks and Caicos Islands

Just thought I'd post this. I don't really care about the thread or this pissing contest but I thought it might help. And I've learned something new today.

Source is from answerbag.com

Having seen the list, it's not that impressive for an Empire I'll grant you but it is more accurate as a collective than the apparently all encompassing 'World Series'.

Cheers

Also of note is that Oxford and Cambridge will make the finals (again) in the boat race.

Bit sensitive aren't you? I make a pretty standard joke about the 'World Series' being a bit of a misnomer and you get all touchy.

You came for some rear action, and put a baseball up your Mum along with some apple pie?

Thank goodness for that. I don't want to even think about what a home run entails.

It involves some very unfortunate fish, large, spiky machines, and of course, Chris Gould.

You use 'large'? It'd never occured to me before but anything's worth a go.

No, I meant "large, spiky machines." As in machines that are large as well as covered in spikes.

However, large can be used if wanted. As can frightening.

You use large admit it. No need to be all coy about it especially as you also use 'some very'.

Stubby's Mom here:
You boys are very naughty and Stubby cannot play with you for one week. He's grounded. And I have a good mind to tell your folks to get out the soap and water and wash out your mouths. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Your parents raised you better.

We have baseball here but we call it rounders and it is dare i say it more of a girls game.

We also have rugby which is more or less like american football but without the shiny helmets and dynasty style shoulder pads.
