I wonder if you can help me. I downloaded a movie on to DVD and then played it on my Samsung HTP-1200 cinema system. The DVD player will now not recognise any dvd or cd format and just comes up with disk error. I have been on to Samsung and they say if the movie was downloaded from another region then the DVD changes itself so that it can read the disk. Apparently they say the that is it, the region is stored and you cannot change it. I find this hard to believe as surely it is just a software issue. Does anyone have any advice how I can change or check that my player is on Region 2?
