Firefly left us way too soon.

"Firefly" was way too short-lived. Looks like only movies now!
"Space Above and Beyond" was good while it lasted (never got to see the last episodes)
"UFO" was funky, but very old.
Hear, hear, I agree about the reality type TV shows - they @$#%^%!

OKay, Thing is this topic is Cancelled shows, shows that had a series finale wasnt cancelled. So West Wing wasn't cancelled, X-Files wasnt cancelled, Seinfeld wasn't cancelled, and Joey wasn't cancelled. They all had series finalies. I know your saying "wait frank, joey was cancelled". My answer to that is, it did have a finale, it was called "Friends: The Series Finale". That show was just made so that devotees of the show will have something to watch, that way they didnt have to go to sleep at night jerking off using their tears as lubricant, cause they have joey, its like friends, but not.
Now the two shows that were cancelled, that should be brought back, were Arrested Development, and Titus.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? One of the funniest shows ever.
NewsRadio, although without Phil Hartman it wouldn't work anymore, so sad, it was such a great show.

I disagree with the comments about a series with a finale not counting as being cancelled.
Several shows have tied up loose ends because they thought that they had been cancelled, only to get a reprieve afterwards.
Babylon 5 had a sort of finale at the end of season 4 before continuing on for its 5th season and I'm sure that Stargate did too - although I can't remember which season it was. I'm sure that there must be others too...
What I'm trying to say is that programmes can know that they're getting cancelled and therefore get a finale written. It doesn't mean that they weren't cancelled.

1. Firefly
2. Star Trek: Enterprise
3. Carnivale
And not just bring them back, but promo the hell out of them and put them on in a decent slot at the same time every week so fans can find them! If I see one more Reality TV show I'll loose it!

Primarily Carnivale and Invader Zim. Note: I don't have HBO, so for Carnivale I (or my sister, Deborah, rather) just rented the DVDs, waited for the price to lower, then bought them.
Bakersfield PD, at least give it a DVD release for f**ks sakes.
X Files
Arrested Development
Studio 60
Justice League Unlimited

Anyone remember "The State" from back in the day on MTV? It's been so long since I've seen it, but I always felt it was America's "Flying Circus".

The 1990s animated Silver Surfer. That show was awesome, had great reviews, great ratings...then Marvel went bankrupt. I'd like to see that come back with the same style animation.
And I might be crazy...but I'd like to see a new animated Star Trek series--traditionally animated, and not made to look like cheap anime, and not made to look like the weird looking Picasso c**p that everything on Cartoon Network is doing now.
And I really liked the animated show "Family Dog." Tim Burton was a producer I believe. I think it was a little ahead of its time. Didn't last long at all.

Firefly and Drive. Fox did not let these two get to there full potential especially Drive which they pulled after 3 episodes.
Firefly, Reunion, Threshold, and Invasion. I hate when mysteries are unsolved. I guess the general American public doesn't care too much for Sci-Fi.
Freaks and Geeks maybe?
For a Mystery Science Theater 3k fix, has anyone checked out Rifftrax?
Friends and Seinfeld!
