Chips with Vinnie Jones & Jason Statham lol
Arrested Development
GRAVITY
Dollhouse
Angel
Heroes
I Love Lucy
Dark Angel
Tru Calling
Before I read on and see what everyone else has picked, I'll give my two cents.

-Spaced
-Invader Zim
-Arrested Development
-Drawn Together (movie due out this year!)
-Samurai Jack
-That 70's Show (because face it, that series finale was weak sh*t and Eric should've never left the show.  I know it had to end at some point, but why the hell ruin it with them going upstairs to count off the new year? It would've atleast been awesome to have an hour long finale where they'd ring in the new year mid-episode.)
Joey
You having a laugh yeah ?
I would like to see all these back
i would love to see more farscape
FARSCAPE and MST3K
dragonball z
joey
charmed
I'd love to see Vengeance Unlimited with Michael Madsen again.
Firefly
Jake 2.0
Space- Above and Beyond
Painkiller Jane
Tru Calling
Dead Like Me
Wonderfalls
Pushing Daisies
Odyssey 5
Arrested Development (neh it ended good but I love it so much)
Dead Like Me. Good show. I think I already said Carnivale.
Friends and Seinfeld!
XFiles
For a Mystery Science Theater 3k fix, has anyone checked out Rifftrax?
Freaks and Geeks maybe?
Firefly, Reunion, Threshold, and Invasion. I hate when mysteries are unsolved. I guess the general American public doesn't care too much for Sci-Fi.
Firefly and Drive. Fox did not let these two get to there full potential especially Drive which they pulled after 3 episodes.
The 1990s animated Silver Surfer.  That show was awesome, had great reviews, great ratings...then Marvel went bankrupt.  I'd like to see that come back with the same style animation.

And I might be crazy...but I'd like to see a new animated Star Trek series--traditionally animated, and not made to look like cheap anime, and not made to look like the weird looking Picasso c**p that everything on Cartoon Network is doing now.

And I really liked the animated show "Family Dog."  Tim Burton was a producer I believe.  I think it was a little ahead of its time.  Didn't last long at all.

Already been made before your post....
Enterprise definitely left us before its time.
* Star Trek: Enterprise
* Cashmere Mafia (way better than Lipstick Jungle)
* Alias
* Journeyman
*The Bionic Woman (2007 version)
*Hey Dude
*Salute Your Shorts

These old Nick shows ruled! Can't really think of anything for my current age.
Futurama
Las Vegas
Knight Rider.  Oh wait...
Firefly (AGREED x googol, EPIC show right there)
Futurama (its kind of back with those DVDs)

Dallas
Tales From the Crypt.
Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
Anyone remember "The State" from back in the day on MTV?  It's been so long since I've seen it, but I always felt it was America's "Flying Circus".
X Files
Arrested Development
Studio 60
Justice League Unlimited
Bakersfield PD, at least give it a DVD release for f**ks sakes.
Primarily Carnivale and Invader Zim. Note: I don't have HBO, so for Carnivale I (or my sister, Deborah, rather) just rented the DVDs, waited for the price to lower, then bought them.
1. Firefly
2. Star Trek: Enterprise
3. Carnivale

And not just bring them back, but promo the hell out of them and put them on in a decent slot at the same time every week so fans can find them! If I see one more Reality TV show I'll loose it!
I disagree with the comments about a series with a finale not counting as being cancelled.

Several shows have tied up loose ends because they thought that they had been cancelled, only to get a reprieve afterwards.

Babylon 5 had a sort of finale at the end of season 4 before continuing on for its 5th season and I'm sure that Stargate did too - although I can't remember which season it was. I'm sure that there must be others too...

What I'm trying to say is that programmes can know that they're getting cancelled and therefore get a finale written. It doesn't mean that they weren't cancelled.
Joan of Arcadia

I thought it had great potentials and deserved better from the network!!
The Red Hand Gang.

Big John, Little John. (What a way to grow)

Duffy Moon.

Lucan.
"Twin Pekas" "Designing Women" "All is Forgiven"
Angel (what a sucky ending!)
Enterprise
Futurama!!!
Whose Line Is It Anyway? One of the funniest shows ever.

NewsRadio, although without Phil Hartman it wouldn't work anymore, so sad, it was such a great show.
OKay, Thing is this topic is Cancelled shows, shows that had a series finale wasnt cancelled. So West Wing wasn't cancelled, X-Files wasnt cancelled, Seinfeld wasn't cancelled, and Joey wasn't cancelled. They all had series finalies. I know your saying "wait frank, joey was cancelled". My answer to that is, it did have a finale, it was called "Friends: The Series Finale". That show was just made so that devotees of the show will have something to watch, that way they didnt have to go to sleep at night jerking off using their tears as lubricant, cause they have joey, its like friends, but not.

Now the two shows that were cancelled, that should be brought back, were Arrested Development, and Titus.
"Firefly" was way too short-lived.  Looks like only movies now!
"Space Above and Beyond" was good while it lasted (never got to see the last episodes)
"UFO" was funky, but very old.

Hear, hear, I agree about the reality type TV shows - they @$#%^%!
Firefly left us way too soon.

Only if it is Mulder and Scully X-files.  The last season was pretty sad.

True
id love to see Oz come back.
And second the Over There comments. That was a cracking series.

I wish all reality type TV shows would disappear from the face of the planet........forever!

I couldn't have said it better myself. Well said.

And on a side note:

I was really stupid to forget Tales From the Crypt and The X-Files.

Firefly
Andromeda
Wings
I want Fear Factor to continue. Anyone else agree?

I wish they had given The Tick live action show a bit more time to gain an audience.
Oh, and also 'Over There', which I think was cancelled way too soon - Only 13 episodes?!? Come on Tru Calling (shudder..) got 2 whole series!!!
My choices would be:

Firefly (no brainer that one...)
Young Riders (late 80's/early 90's Young Guns type series)
Young Americans (Although I can't see Kate Bosworth returning)

Id love for alot of show to come back but I will only pick one; one that should have never been canceled in the first place: EVERWOOD!!!!EVERWOOD!!!!EVERWOOD!!!!EVERWOOD!!!!EVERWOOD!!!!EVERWOOD!!!!
Seinfeld
Futurama (DVD movies next year!!!)
Greg the Bunny
Star Trek Enterprise
Andy Richter Controls the Universe

But most and best of all: Arrested Development
I bet no one will agree with me but I have to say I want Popular back! I loved that show. I still watch it when they play re-runs on family channel.
American Gothic

I'd have to say

Commander In Chief
The West Wing
Thirdwatch
Star Trek: Enterprise
Charmed

I like Futurama more than Family Guy or the Simpsons, but the Simpsons was here first, so it wins the originality prize.
Oi! doesn't anyone want to see the return of NBC's The Highwayman?

Wink

I read recently that Futurama was coming back in series format ala Family Guy myself...they seem to be going back and fourth on the whole movies vs. series thing over there. May seem a bit blasphemous, but being a bit of of a sci-fi geek I've always preferred Futurama to The Simpsons because of all the weird and little, sci-fi pop culture references thrown in there.

Myself, I'd like to see a revival of V sooner rather than later myself. How about Manimal or Misfits of Science?
I hear they're making a Spaced TV movie, along with a few Futurama movies. Those would make me happy. I'd like to see more Home Movies as well, but they were starting to slide a tiny bit their last season.
Twin Peaks
Carnivale
Mr Show
Firefly (watched a few reruns on TV, the show is fantastic and I want to get the season).
Life on A Bun

Chappelle's Show

That show rules.
MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000

What cancelled TV show would you like to return?
This is not a magic solution to get them back, just a thread to mention the ones you want back. Here's mine:

  • Firefly
  • Space, Above and Beyond
  • Earth 2
  • Sliders (before Fox broke it)

Am sure there's plenty more.
