Your obsessive compulsive movie collector habits
hogaburger wrote: I find that a lot of blu-ray/DVD collectors have interesting habits and nitpicks for maintaining and organizing their collections.

Mine include...

-Slip covers hit the trash can, pronto
-Security/magnetic strips join the slip covers. I usually complete these first two habits somewhere between the store and my car.
-I sort my blu-rays by the companies that released them
-I haaate these: http://zarkseven.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/bl...
The tiny latches always break so they don't snap completely shut.
-I'm also not a fan of the recycling friendly cases, be it the thin paper Baraka packaging or when the recycle logo is cut out of the case. Makes it easier to crush and it feels cheap.
-It makes me sad when I import something from the UK and the title on the spine is facing the opposite direction from my other movies.
-I don't like it when blu-rays come in DVD-sized cases. I'm looking at you, East of Eden movies. Disney classics come in both, and the store I went to when I bought Beauty and the Beast only had the DVD-sized case. I regret my impatience.

Now somebody please tell me they share some of these, or have some weird ones of their own so I don't feel like a crazy person.
Hah sounds like your talking about me when I buy a new dvd or blu ray wrapper then the empty case hits the trash I keep every disc in a photo folder each folder holds about 300 disc and I have about 29 of them as of now and going out this weekend to get another.

I like those cases. I like the embossed Blu-ray logo on those, and sometimes switch the other cases on some out for those. I organize them alphabetically. I even count "the" as T. But, hey. That's just me.
I don't want to be an enabler
You should sell the slipcovers. People go mad for them.
