Play.com
Play.com originally started out selling both region 1 and region 2 DVDs, but eventually split into two separate operations with this version running the region 2 side. They then went on to expand into offering: CDs, computer games, gadgets, electronics, books and various other items.

Unlike many of its recent competitors, Play.com has as far as we can remember always been based on Jersey and from the beginning was able to offer tax-free purchases to many European countries. This early advantage allowed them to expand whilst other retailers struggled and began relocating to the channel islands.

All prices include postage and packaging, and when over the £18 customs limit they also pay the VAT, so you will not suffer from any additional customs charges.

They only deliver to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Play.com use Royal Mail for most deliveries and depending on the value of the item, they will send them using either: first class, recorded or special delivery. The main exception is the book orders, which sometimes use UPS.
