Inception Replacement Programme (UK - DVD R2)
Do you own Inception on DVD? it's just possible you might have a faulty copy...
It has recently come to our attention that certain batches of Warner Brothers' Inception DVD have serious visual issues. The discs, which can be identified by the batch code 'SE-SP-08', present obvious signs of aliasing and poor compression, as evidenced by the screen captures accompanying this piece. Warner Brothers has already instigated a replacement programme for affected customers, as detailed on their website. If you think you have one of the faulty discs you should send an email to wbcustomerservices@technicolor.com, who will then arrange for a replacement disc to be sent free of charge. The issue also affects DVDs included with the Blu-ray Triple Play edition. It's worth pointing out that the visual problems look much worse in motion than they do in these still images.
