Hello, and welcome to DVDActive! We hope you like the new-look website. It’s taken many hours of hard work and dedication, but we think the end result is worth it! Whether you’re a long-time reader or a new visitor we hope you’ll enjoy our colourful new layout, featuring enhanced drop-down menu browsing, higher resolution images, improved user forums and many behind-the-scenes tweaks. We’ll be bringing even more features online over the coming months, as we strive to make DVDActive the number one source for DVD-related news, reviews and feature articles!

Your first port of call should be the ‘Setting’ pages (found in the ‘Home’ menu option). From here you can log-in to the website (or create an account if necessary) and edit preferences such as your signature, profile and display options. For a limited time existing users may change their username if desired (under ‘Login Details’). However, this can only be done once so choose wisely! Some of the future improvements we will be making are member profiles and the ability to email other forum users directly (we know from feedback that this is something many of you want). These will link into your ‘Profile’ page, so please take the time to fill it in if possible. You may even want to participate in our survey!

We’ve done everything we can to ensure the transition from DVDAnswers to DVDActive is a smooth as possible, but as is often the case there may be teething problems and we ask that you bear with us. Firstly, you’ll notice that only more recent content has been enhanced with larger images. It simply wasn’t practical to edit years’ worth of news and reviews, but as the weeks progress you’ll notice that new content will be enhanced wherever possible. If you spot anything that you believe requires the attention of an administrator, please feel free to contact one of the editorial team. As always, we appreciate your feedback. In order to get the best from the new features you might like to consider upgrading your web browser to the latest version (Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera). Enjoy the website!
