As usual, the UK has better artwork than the US, but then it wasn't a great movie, so it hardly matters.

Yep, one of the worst big budget films ever made. It is up there with "Battlefield Earth" and "Dreamcatcher" - as being so bad, that you cringe with every scene! An unintentional comedy - which fans of "bad" movies might want to watch once (just for torture!).
I enjoyed the director's other work on Moon 44, Stargate, Godzilla etc. but he went completely bonkers on 10,000 bc !!!

I don't think so. Based on my understanding (which isn't much), 10,000 BC is older than 9,000 BC. It's 10,000 years Before Christ.. so 9,000 years Before Christ would occur after 10,000 BC; making it a sequel rather than prequel.

They haven't properly done the layering. The tiger is meant to be in the foreground, but it's actually behind the man. You can even see its claw ghosting behind the guy's hips.

Personally I didn't think this OR Godzilla were anywhere near as bad as people said. They were both run of the mill Hollywood entertainment. If you were expecting the world to change because of either of them that was your dillusion. I wouldn't watch either of them again, but they were just as mediocre as most of the movies you lot rave about.
