17 Again (US - DVD R1 | BD RA)
New Line announces DVD and Blu-ray releases of the recent Zac Efron film
Title: 17 Again (IMDb)
Starring: Zac Efron
Released: 11th August 2009
SRP: $28.98 (DVD)
Further Details:
New Line has announced DVD ($28.98) and Blu-ray ($35.99) releases of 17 Again which stars Zac Efron and Matthew Perry. Each will be available to own from the 11th August. We have no word on extra material for the DVD right now I'm afraid. The Blu-ray release however will include featurettes ("Zac Goes Back", "Going Back To 17", "Zac’s Dance Flashback", "Tom Lennon & Melora Hardin – Unfiltered"), additional scenes, character outtakes, a “Way Cool” Tell All Trivia Track, and a digital copy of the film. A standard definition DVD will also be included. We've attached the official package artwork for each release below:

Quote: No one would call Mike ODonnell the perfect husband or father least of all his wife or kids but hes about to get the second chance hes always wished for. When Mike is passed over for a promotion at work, he blames his family for his lack of success: if only he could do it all again and do it right this time, then…everything would be different. When Mike wakes up the next morning, hes no longer his unhappy middle-aged self - instead hes 17 all over again! Heres his chance to do it right! Reminiscent of Peggy Sue Got Married, and a reverse Big, 17 Again is a true new coming of age story - one where getting a second chance at your happy ending means creating a whole new beginning!

Poor Matthew Perry ... he's barely mentioned on the box. His photo on the back makes him look like he's not even a main character. Of course I haven't seen the movie ... maybe he's not.

Zac Efron is the f**king antichrist
Packed with Zac? Huh. I was actually going to give this a shot on Blu. Oh, well.
ZE is OMG in TH and TG. ZE LTC and TITA
lose that "Full screen" line on the artwork...it looks s**t.
its beyond me why in 2009 we are still getting full-screen releases...and I agree the full-screen title on the artwork looks tacky and awful

He's in it for maybe 20 minutes.

WTF is up with that cover? And since "17 Again" was a mild success, why not release it in widescreen only? Remember when New Line used to do that? Now that they're part of WB, they're releasing these awful flipper discs.

But isn't he the older version of Zach Efron's character, thereby still making him a "major" character worth featuring?
I like that the shirt carries over to the spine in the place usually relegated for the star's picture. That shirt will look nice on my dvd shelf.

The only movie this is semi like is 13 Going on 30 only backwards and in the same time as he was in. He doesn't switch places with another person as in all the movies you just mentioned.
no bonus material on the dvd! that is total bulls**t. i loved this movie, it was cute and fun. god, give us dvd fans some love, we still exist!!!!
Zac Efron actually isn't completely terrible in this. Of course, this is still the kid from HSM which is something I'll probably never forgive him for.
That said, this was pretty funny and I'll pick it up.

Thomas Lennon's hilariousness and Michelle Trachtenberg's hotness is what made this movie. Def. get on blu.
"Packed with Zak" Is it really going to say that? He looks like a mannequin....made out of plastic with a blank stare....you can always count on Pete Hammond for a quote on the box, I wonder how much he got for this one?
"Packed with Zac..." OMG! Like that's crazy. Will Netflix it though.
"Packed With Zac" is a REALLY dumb way to promote this movie, in actuality, I saw it and thought it was pretty good, Thomas Lennon stole every scene he was in and he needs to be a bigger star, I actually think Zac Efron has talent and I liked that he wasn't afraid to make himself look foolish. and Leslie Mann is always a welcome sight for me
The movie was pretty damned funny so will be picking it up on Blu!
Zac Efron is so dreamy.....
This looked very stupid.
"Packed with ZAC!"
Thats what she...wanted to say.
Thats what she...wanted to say.
On the surface, this movie is so easy to make fun of but it had a surprisingly well written screenplay.
Maybe they should put Zac into a real role - maybe be a victim of a torturer in a saw sequel....
"packed with zac over 30 min more with zac"
what the f**k. Laughed my ass off when i saw that line. he he
