This was a really cool film. I definately liked it a lot better than the first one. I really like the artwork too. I hope they stick with it and don't change it. I will definately be picking this one up.

Cool, cant wait for dvd, 28DL was wicked!
The artwork is sick on this one.
I was kind of disappointed with this one. I understand what it was trying to go for (there is no way to prepare for a disaster of these proportions and hence following one character becomes even harder) but its just underwhelmed in its delivery. After the opening scene (which I loved), it all went slowly downhill for me.
Cool artwork. I loved this movie, I'll definitely be picking this up.
I will still probably pick this one up, even though it can't touch the original in terms of quality.
Not a fan of the artwork. The original posters would have been better.
Yes, that artwork is disappointing - hate the face-mask thing and the stretched text over the top of it. Bring back the poster artwork!
This was one of the better early summer movies. It's pretty much right in league with the first film, but, sadly the tense suspense that I felt in the first film is almost non-exisistent, thanks to "28 Days Later". Still "28 Weeks Later" doesn't dissapoint, like much of the other films of the class of '07.
Yes, this was one of the few sequels released in 2007 that actually didn't disappoint (all of the threequels, except one, were hugely disappointing) and "28 Weeks Later" actually topped the original in terms of tension, action and overall denouement. I will add that I thought "28 Days Later" was hugely overrated -- while good, I didn't think it was revolutionary and the plot dragged during the second part of the movie. The sequel was fast-paced, intelligent for the most part and genuinely frightening.
I will definitely be picking this up, although I half-expected Fox to release an unrated edition.

I really liked this sequel, it tied up pretty well to the original.
It is likely that this release will also get a Blu-ray edition? Along with the original?
P.S i do like the cover, but the Maxim quote kills it. Maxim reviews are garbage.

When did Pete Hammond from Maxim become the ultimate film quote w***e?
How about a box set? Another fox double dip when 28 months later hits the theater?
This was one of the best to come out this summer. Definite purchase for me.
im definitely getting this! it was wayyy better than Days
Very good this. And as nasty and violent as hell. This is a real edge of the seat caper as you truly don't know who will live or die.
The underground/nightscope scene is the most creepy ass thing seen for a long time.
It's also NOT the stupidly blind anti-American film some hippies (go live the Taleban, but don't expect to be let back)said it was. The political edge is there but its not rabid and its thankfully considered and reasoned.
Has a few story faults and holes, bit nothing really damaging, although the very end was perhaps too abrupt and off screen.
Well worth picking up and it's nice to see horror having some tough and meaty balls once more (the scene with a certain character and a person on the bed in qurantine is truly grotesque in its uncompromising physical agony, personal tragedy and extreme bloody violence, just as it should be).

one of the best horror movies of the past 10 years. So scary and much better than the original
A friend of mine went to this and was severely disappointed. He's a huge fan of horror films, mainstream and low budget alike, and he said this was just boring in comparison to most everything he has seen. I will check it out on DVD, as I do like the first one...
And the movie companies really need to look elsewhere for better quotes. There HAS to be at least ONE more quote from a credible critic other than Pete Hammond of Maxim. The guy is just...well...extremely UN-credible.

Count me in. Awesome movie.
Definitely want to see the sequel. The cover art's not bad. I wish they would get rid of review quotes from DVD covers.
A great sequel to one of my favorite horror movies. Artwork is ok but it would have been way better if they used the posters. Definitely picking this up for sure.
Awesome!! I was just looking for this on the web yesterday. The artwork is nice, but I like the other poster artwork better (military quarantine theme).
wait a second....a horror film WITHOUT an unrated version? whats the world coming to?!
no unrated version??
i thought it was better than the first one, love the cover work still don't know if i will buy it,

The cover art is cool and all, but am I the only person that thought the movie was awful?
this was a british movie. i don't know that they pull the "unrated" bit with their movies. also...it was rated "r." an unrated version would be like nc-17...or something like that. maybe an extended/collectors edition/directors cut/version you never saw/super infected edition (if they used the super infected edition...i want royalties!)
The poster art was awesome... but this cover is pretty weak.
Great film though. Just as good as the first in my opinion!

How come the double dip of 28DL never came out?? It was announced but I never saw it anywhere.
The Artwork is okayy..kinda boring..the font is different toO..i love the movie..better than the first.
Awesome artwork, love the details on the different colored eyes and everything. One of my favorite movies from this year. I'll pick it up for sure.
