I'm importing this if only for the reason that the case setup is so much better than the US version and the "picture" appears to be black and white instead of blue like on the US release!
You would have thought they would have combined both....
I dunno how I missed this one.I love vampire flicks! The plot for this sounds pretty good too. May check out the graphic novel too.Looks like Ben Foster gives another great performance too from what I saw in the trailer.
Plot Summary: For 30 days every winter, the isolated town of Barrow, Alaska is plunged into a state of complete darkness. It's a bitter time when most of the inhabitants head south. This winter, a mysterious group of strangers appear: bloodthirsty vampires, ready to take advantage of the uninterrupted darkness to feed on the residents remaining in town. Barrow's Sheriff Eben (Josh Hartnett), his estranged wife Stella (Melissa George), and an ever-shrinking group of survivors must do anything they can to last until daylight in Columbia Pictures' "30 Days of Night."
Fantastic cover art.

18? it was a 15 in cinemas.
I dont see what all the negativity is about. I thought this was a fresh, new, and exciting vampire film. Good amount of gore, scares, and enjoyable performances.
I'll be picking this up in the states the day it comes out. There hasnt been a good horror film out in a long time, but this one stood out for me.

Whoa. I didn't know about Trails Of nIght. As for 30 Days Of Night, it was a flawed vampire film which had it's moments and sometimes felt like an old John Carpenter film.
was okay. not great

Didn't make the same impression as the original graphic novel did, but was good entertainment.
