I wanted to see this movie so badly in the theaters but I never had the chance. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen are terrific actors. I'll definitely check this one out.
I really wanted to see this, its clips and previews reminded me of the show "The Big C". I'm excited to rent it.

I hate how the film is being marketed as a straight comedy film, when in reality, anyone that has seen it knows that it's a tear-jerker. They did the same with "Adventureland," marketing it as a comedy when it's really a pretty sizable drama.
Regardless, this film was fantastic and a definite pick for favorite of the year. I still consider it underrated even though it did pretty well at the box office.

I agree. The cover is selling it as a straight-up comedy.

That blue backdrop does suck. They should have just stuck with the original background imagery
They should put "From the Studio that brought you 'The Twilight Saga' and 'Letters to Juliet' on the cover. xD That blue backdrop sucks.
WONDERFUL film! My favorite of the year so far. Saw it twice theatrically and will purchase right away. It was a total surprise. I thought it looked good, but wasn't expecting it to be so great. JGL and Anna Kendrick are terrific.
I think this was the movie the Funny People wanted to be. This was much funnier and more poignant than that overlong schlock fest.
It interweaved drama and comedy seamlessly. It really is a heart-warming and uplifting story. I highly highly recommend this film. Even if you hate Rogen, you will at least like it.
Wasn't as light hearted as i'd hoped.I suppose at the end of the day theres nothing light hearted about the subject matter and if they went for too many laughs people would think they're mocking it.Left me feeling depressed though i dont know if thats because my mum has a tumour. It's definately not role around the floor laughs more smile and giggle because you feel sad for the guy.You really warm to the characters.I'm gonna check out more Seth rogan movies i like him.
I really wanna see this movie...I love Anna Kendrick and Joseph Gordan-Levitt, and I've heard a lot of good things about it. I'll definitely Redbox to see how it is.
I found it surprisingly rewatchable. Saw it 3 times with different friends. JGL really makes the movie..I'd love to see him get a nomination.
Loved it. Favorite film of the year. Already pre-ordered it.
I agree, it was good but not a lot of replay value. I laugh how it says $35 million box office, funny. The film was more serious than funny but that's ok, it worked well here.
Anyone else wanna smack that look off of Seth Rogen's face?
Great movie but not one to watch a lot.
I would give myself a 50/50 chance of actually sitting down and watching this.
