Made it to 11. They aired a series finale in season 10, the last year of The WB network, then the CW said "Hold on!" and brought it back for one more painful year. They were smart enough though to not bother spending extra money by airing in HD. 'Everwood' basically lost its slot for season 5 because this came back. Which really pisses me off

I disagree, the two girls and the mom look great on the box art, and I'm assuming this season. I wasn't a big fan, Jessica Biel was a reason to watch, but I also liked Beverly Mitchell very much.
The show was preachy, and I doubt I'll ever get a season, but if I'm flipping and I see one of the ladies looking good I'll stop and watch.

No Jessica Biel, not worth watching. Plus this show has run it's course. I watched this show as a teenager due to the fact nothing else was on. Definitely preachy, but it is about a preachers family with one too many children. Ninth Season... That is just insane!
One of the c**ppiest, most stupid and cornball shows ever to be on TV.
It's probably true that 7th Heaven went on longer than it needed to...I didn't see anything beyond season seven, but whenever I sit down to watch an episode, I still can't help but get totally engrossed in the show. The show most certainly seems funnier to me now than it did when I was a kid; I never really realized just how witty this show actually is. So, I will buy all eleven seasons of the show. Maybe it wasn't the best show to ever grace television, but I can't help but love it since it found its way into my heart when I was so young.
On another note, I'm loving the cover art. It's certainly my favorite design of all the nine releases so far - very elegant and very "clean" in a way. It just looks GOOD. I still wish CBS/Paramount would re-release and re-package seasons one and two to match though...

This was a show I watched when I was younger till it got to about this point and became even more preachy and weird, and Lucy married that sandy haired idiot shown sitting above the twins. He was a horrendous actor and they had no chemistry (beyond the fact that he obviously wanted to go to bed with her. Can't blame him for that I guess)
Anyway, don't know that I'd even show my kids some of the earlier seasons. Too preachy about pre-marital sex and everything. The point is, you tell a kid to wait, they won't. You tell them it's better to wait until a relationship has gone on for a long period of time, because that's when you know it's truly love, then they'll wait. I know this from experience.
