In the final days of humanity, a dedicated scientist gives the spark of life to nine of his creations. Maybe you should stick to movies on your level, like, hmmm, Night at the Museum 2. Ha
I like all types of movies. OK? There hasn't been a decent one these days, except for "Where the Wild Things Are." Also saving my dough for HP6.
I mean, don't get me wrong. I love Tim Burton. He's an excellent director. He only made two other failures, which were the 2005 releases. Other than that, I love the original Batman movies he made and "The Nightmare Before Christmas." But this one was another disappointment to me. "Coraline" was much better.
Well, let's see, Tim Burton did not direct this movie, Writer/Director Shane Acker did. Tim was a producer. Coraline & Nightmare Before Christmas(writer-producer) were also not directed by Tim Burton, they were directed by Henry Selick.
Tim Burton also directed Batman and Batman Returns. I think I know that Coraline and NMBC, he was producer but he was part of it - I mean.

Or more like stick to movies that are really on my level, like, hmmm..., Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Hahaha!

No one knows. And no one cares.
Actually, some people do....
What a stupid comment.

Also...NOTE: Since Night at the Museum 2 is a December release, I don't get December releases that quickly. I wait till the holidays and see if my family will be getting the movies I want for me as gifts. That's what I do with for my relatives when I buy something that maybe they want (other than a movie such as a book or a box of chocolates). That's the main thing with the holidays.

Yeah. I was so excited for this movie. But it wasn't an action-packed epic, the "characters" weren't developed, and the plot was paper thin. I mean, overall I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't anything it was hyped up to be. It's gonna look freakin sweet on blu-ray tho, for sure.
It's understandable if you say the characters weren't developed and the plot may be thin, but you're saying it wasn't action-packed? Did we see the same movie? There was action like every 5 minutes in this movie. I don't know, I just can't imagine someone saying it wasn't action packed.

Already an announced date? This movie was a lot like The Perfect Getaway. Came and went.
I really feel bad for Tim Burton. It only racked up like $9 million.

??? Just because he sunk to a low level by posting something with no merit behind it, does that mean you have to sink just as low, if not lower by slandering another unrelated movie? (which I happen to have enjoyed as well)
I am looking to pick this up though, loved the animation and visuals even if the story was a bit lacking.

Cool to watch, nothing revolutionary story-wise. I liked when the big one was using the magnet though, pretty funny.
I knew nothing much about the movie, but just looking at the posters and the character design made me want to watch it very badly. I missed it in the theatres but I will definately watch it when it releases on Blu.
I second the request for more Focus Features Blu-rays, especially Lost Highway. I didn't pick up the DVD because the R1 disc did no justice to the movie and the R2 disc was out of stock. On Blu it'll be a must buy for me. Possibly my favourite Lynch film in the few that I have seen so far.

9 = 8 males, 1 female.
I don't like.
I don't like.
Will rent the blu. Didnt see in theaters.
That was quick. Didn't get a chance to see this, will check out on DVD.
Wow - tat was quick - didn't hear of this in the movies down under....
Very upset I didn't see this in theaters. Can't wait till this drops.
I thought this was a really awesome movie. If I have enough money (which I doubt), I'll pick this up on Blu-ray. Really captivating experience. The extras are pretty decent too. Although, I wish there was an extended version. The theatrical film was only an hour and ten minutes (excluding credits). That was only one of my complaints. Definitely one of my favorite movies this year. Nobody should miss it.

To each their own, but I'm curious to find why you found it boring and retarded. The film couldn't have been tedious. The movie jumped from story line to story line and left no insignificant, or as you say "boring" parts in the film. Also, what was so retarded? I thought the film was original and unique in its own way and I didn't think it was silly or cheesy. It was a pretty mature and captivating experience. I'm not picking on you, if that's what you are think, and it's your own opinion. But, I find it amusing how you say it's "boring" and "retarded".

I dunno about this tbh. It looks like the kind of animated film where the trailer is brilliant (which it is, Coheed & Cambria on a trailer is instant win for me), but the film will probably end up being slightly mediocre.

yeah, i have to admit, this is a WONDERFUL movie! i never really like CGI animated movies but this one was awesome! DEFINITELY worth a blind buy if you haven't seen it. parts are actually scary-ish too!
Just saw this one and the 29th December can't come quick enough for me. Great cover art as well.
Heard this wasn't that great but I'll check it out. Love the artwork though.
This was visually spectacular, but the story was a bit of a letdown. Totally worth seeing, though. Snazzy cover, as well; like what they did with the theatrical poster there, adding the stuff in the foregroud that 9 is standing on and the monsters in the background.
In addition to its exclusive features, the Bluray will also take you into your bedroom, give you a good rogering, and then tell you it loves you.
Never did see this but heard it was decent. Will probably rent.
I wish Focus Features would put out more blu-rays (Thirst, Eternal Sunshine, Lost Highway, Motorcycle Diaries, just to name a few)
