Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the 1st season of 90210 which stars Rob Estes, Shenae Grimes, and AnnaLynne McCord. The set will be available to own from the 11th August. As far as we know, no extra material will be included on this one - but we'll let you know if that changes. Stay tuned. For now though, here's our first look at the official package artwork:

This show is awfully written, shallow and ill-structured, but it's completely addictive.

I never paid much attention, but I guess they dropped the "Beverly Hills" to set it apart from the original?
god, people should be watching quality television like Damages, True Blood, Brothers & Sisters, Weeds or Big Love. Not this garbage. There is so much great TV out there if you look for it.
Paramount/CBS is releasing this? That really sucks. Why can't Warner be behind it, since it's always behind CW shows (Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Supernatural, Smallville...etc) Now we'll have no extras at all. Lame!

I couldn't agree more. But Americans are addicted to bad TV and terrible movies. Look at Paul Blart. I will not be renting this show, buying it, or bothering to read any more news on it.

I watch all of those shows except Damages. But I also watch Gossip Girl, and watched the first couple episodes of 90210. It was horrible though. Still, you can enjoy different kinds of shows/movies for different reasons. For the most part, more people watch the shows you mentioned (when you figure in downloads/DVD rentals/sales) than 90210. It's not like it's a big hit.

Gossip Girl is actually really good. Now that is a high quality teen drama. 90210 is vapid and worthless, Gossip Girl has great acting and commentary on high society. If you have to watch a teen show, Gossip Girl is it. Not this trash.

The show is terrible. The dialogue is cheesy and unrealistic and the plots are boring. This show tries too hard to be the new OC, which is a far more superior show.
