The name's Kreuger, Fred Krueger. That Fred Krueger was a child molester is something which is made too explicit in this one.  OK, we hated "Freddymania" as much as any other fan of the first film, where the evilness of the character was diluted to become a commercially-appealing marketing tool, but the implication is more disturbing than bringing it out into the spotlight.

They are releasing the remake as a Blu double-disc set with the original, and pre-order prices are not too bad.  It is really cheeky that you only get the extras with the Blu copy, though.

Still, if Jackie Earle Haley's Krueger was particulary hirsute, then as far as kids are concerned, he'd REALLY be a Bad News Bear...
