joey_1242 speaks the truth! i LOVED this movie. i wish the tv spots didn't give the "twist" away/or say that there even WAS a twist but this is a REALLY good thriller/mystery nonetheless! it's really perfect (no pun intended!) as it is. i don't see how adding more footage will make it good (unrated) but this is definitely a great movie with GREAT performances from all! and MILLA RULES!!
David Twohy said the extra 10 mins is more flashback scenes to make everything less confusing and add more story, or depth i guess.
no audio commentary? WHAT THE HELL!!!
Best movie of the year. Pick up day 1 on VHS
This movie was offensive, defensive and flat out racist on four different levels. And there wasn't even a gratouitis nudity shot and that is essential for all exotic suspense thrillers. Oh well, my VCR will still pick up the lovely facial expressions from the excellent Milla Jovovich and the luxourious Steve Zahn. Sarcasm Alert, this movie was better than it had to be. Decent little B movie. Until the ending where they completely effed the audience over. Youll be hearing from my lawyer.
I thought this movie was pretty entertaining, but not something I'd re-watch. Don't get me wrong it is a sufficient film, but it's more of a rental per say. As for the extras, I'm disappointed. It seems that Universal Studios only excuse for extras, is including both versions of the film. While it's neat, I rather have extras than have two versions of the film. I bet the 'Unrated' version will only be like a minute longer. When I rented The unborn, the unrated version was literally only six seconds longer and it was unnecessary footage.
I remember even Ebert gave this a good review, might pick it up when bargain priced.
Most. Obvious. Plot twist. EVER.
it says the unrated version is 10 MINUTES longer. not 1 minute.
A solid, underrated thriller. I thought it was going to be pretty mediocre after seeing the trailer but was pleasantly surprised. Not at the top of my purchase list, but it's a definite add to my collection, once it drops under $20 bucks.
Heard mixed things. Will check out.
I actually liked this, good twist. I admit the ending makes me now want to rewatch the rest of the film
This turned out pretty decent. Will buy.
I've heard pretty good things about this one. I'm excited to watch it.
when you watch it a 2nd or 3rd time the dialogue between certain characters takes on different/new meaning. it's really well written. i actually liked this even MORE on my 2nd viewing (and i loved it on the 1st!).
Veyr underrated. It was one of those movies that came and went like that. Will buy The Blu-Ray.
Wow people really liked this movies. I am shocked. especially considering the trailer made everything look so obvious.
This movie was the biggest predictable pieces of excremment ever. From the trailer anyone could easily spot how it was going to turn out to be by the end. Big time bogus

This movie actually did well with critics. While it didn't get a fresh rating on rottentomatoes.com, it came pretty close with a fifty-something percent. And, usually I don't agree with critics. But, I did about this. I loved it. I knew Milla could be more than just an action star. And Timothy Olyphant was top of his game. Yeah, I do hate that the plot twist was practically given away by commercials, but, still, a thrilling, beautiful to look at movie with a beautiful cast that can actually act, including the lovely Marley Shelton. This is a first day blu pick up for me. Oh, and, by the way, can't wait to see Fourth Kind in November.
AWFUL movie! Ughh, I haven't been this upset at myself for watching a movie since SAW III.

Most Obvious AND one that hardly makes ANY sense.

This movie was hilarious. Really terrible, but hilarious. I loved Timothy Olyphant, easily the best part, makes me look even more forward to The Crazies
