Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the Eddie Murphy movie
Paramount Home Entertainment has announced DVD and Blu-ray releases of A Thousand Words which stars Eddie Murphy, Kerry Washington, Cliff Curtis, and Clark Duke. Each will be available to own from June 26th. We have no word on any extra material. We've attached the official package artwork for each of the releases below:

Quote: Fast-talking Jack McCall (Eddie Murphy) says whatever it takes to close a deal. But after stretching the truth with a spiritual guru, he suddenly finds his life depending on a magical tree with 1,000 leaves…one for every word he has left. Now Jack’s got to stop talking and conjure up some outrageous ways to communicate or he’s a goner. See why A Thousand Words is the hilarious, feel-good comedy that has it all: “great cast, great laughs [and a] great time!”

Dear Eddie Murphy,
Please do us all a favor, and just go away. You used to be one of my favorite actors. You once were hilarious, original, and downright enjoyable to watch. Stop with the lame kiddie fare and unfunny comedy and pick a movie that will redeem yourself. If you cannot do this, then just leave and be gone.
Sincerely,
Kyle
P.S. If you plan on leaving, take that hack Shawn Edwards with you as well. He seems to be your only supporter, and his credibility wears thin with each passing day since...like, ever.

He's laughing all the way to the bank...well...except for when it's time to send Nicole her alimony check and Scary Spice her child support check, hahahahahaha!
Amen to that his career has baffled me for years now.

Hadn't heard of this movie until reading this post...well, at least this ain't another Nutty Professor rip-off...; I'm sick of those; the only thing Eddie Murphy hasn't done in that respect is a Twelve Angry Men remake with him playing all the 13 characters...
(and he's a hell of an actor).
This movie was in theaters, what? 10 minutes? Someone just please tell Eddie Murphy to retire from acting.
I haven't watched any of his movies since "I Spy"....and I'm not about to start now.

A Thousands Words is one of the worst movies of 2012 so year. So I will assure you I will not buy an Eddie Murphy flop unless he needs an laughing audience. The box art is terrible just like the poster.
