Tartan has officially announced Ab-Normal Beauty which stars Race Wong, Anson Leung and Ekin Cheng. Written and directed by Oxide Pang (The Eye, The Eye 2), the film tells the story of a photography student, who stumbles across a horrible car accident. After shooting the grisly scene, she becomes obsessed with photographing death. One day, she receives a video tape of a girl who has been beaten to death. But before she can unravel the mystery of the tape or her abnormal behavior, she is kidnapped and realizes the horror has only just begun. The disc will be available to own from the 27th December, priced at around $24.99. The film will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with Cantonese Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 Surround tracks. English subtitles will also be provided. Extras will include deleted scenes, a “Making of” featurette, photo gallery, the original theatrical trailer, and trailers of Tartan Asia Extreme’s upcoming releases. Was anyone else thinking of American Beauty, when quickly glancing at the title?
It sounds really good. Maybe a rent.
Just seen it a few weeks back ago and it was alright. Its kinda strange and alittle bit creepy, its almost like two stories in one but nowhere near good as the Eye was. The two main girls are hot so thats a plus. Its worth checking out if you liked the Eye or if your fan of the Pang brothers movies.
