This movie was decent, but at some points incredibly stupid. Taylor Lautner is sexy as hell, but he needs some work. Don't even get me started on the art cover! One of the worst I've ever seen.
Four Brothers isn't bad.
Taylor Lautner is an absolutely dreadful 'actor' and he looks like an Alpaca. It is hilarious that John Singleton directed this, clearly for the paycheck only which he also did 2 Fast 2 Furious for and the horrible Shaft remake. His only truly good film remains Boyz N The Hood and that's it. Sad to see a director with so much potential with that film just direct garbage for almost 20 years afterwards.
I was intrigued by the trailer for this, but was very disappointed with the results upon seeing the movie. The film is just simply not executed very well at all, the excellent supporting cast is pretty much wasted, and Lautner, while a good looking and talented kid in the stunts and fighting department, is at times cringe-inducing acting-wise, especially when handling dramatic scenes. I think he has potential for future action oriented films, but really needs an acting coach and a MUCH better screenplay
But it also made another $54mil internationally for a worldwide total of $81.6mil - sure, not spectacular, but more than enough to be profitable and that's not including DVD/BD/VOD sales either.
Wow the cover at just SCREAMS straight to video.
In all honesty, the film had an interesting idea; but horrible execution.

What is he, like fifteen? The tagline should read: "They stole his lunch. He's taking it back."
This movie was one of the worst I've ever seen. I thought the trailer looked awesome, but unfortunately that's because all of the "cool" parts of this movie were crammed into the trailer. The whole movie was just laughably bad, and the acting was atrocious.
even though i want to see this yeah, they really shouldn't be "bragging" about $27 Million when the budget was $35 Million (according to BoxOfficeMojo).
$27 million at the box office? That's not really something to boast.
Can't believe John Singelton, the director of "Boyz N The Hood," would even approach this.

I don't care if the critics ripped this a new one, I've wanted to check out this movie since seeing the trailer for it a few months ago. It looks good to me, I don't know about anybody else. I might pick up a copy.
this looked pretty decent. i'll watch this.
What a horrendous cover. I understand that the main selling point is going to be taylor but I mean, a LITTLE something extra wouldn't hurt. And those fonts... those FONTS... ugh...
this looked c**p so I don't know why I even care so much lol

27 million international they really are walking in small shoes lol
Ugh. This looks awful.
I MAY netflix this but damn the twilight kid bugs me. I'm usually forgiving of bad actors if the movie looks ok enough but I dunno this doesn't look great.
