Ah yes! This is the version where every time someone talks off-camera or is in silhouette, they dub in swearwords! The TV show ending is lopped off too! Still, Airwolf was my favourite of the 80s techno-action series with one of the most intriguingly screwed up main characters of any show in that era. I'd like to see it on Blu, so it's a definite buy for me!

The print and transfer on this had better be bloody good, as they're releasing it on Blu...

Ah..., how nostalgic. Seeing this faster-than-sound black chopper blowin' up any kind of aircraft that get on its way in the duration of that catchy theme song.
I hope the sound in the BD will do justice coz we all know that the theme song and the action are always happen at the same time/duration.

Is this a case of 'sounds like a good idea but in practice is hopelessly dated and painful to watch?'
Sounds like ideal condition for reboot time.
Never understood why it was air-wolf. The paint job looks more like a shark and the overall impression (of the chopper) is that of a fish.
Perhaps AIRFISH wouldn't have caught on though.

On the plus-side, it's got David Hemmings in it as the villian.

There is now a review of this over at http://www.airwolf.org/
Trust me, the film is excellent in its own right...
