...again. Is this the third or the fourth version? It seems that Warner Brothers is happy to indulge him, though, and they have announced the release ofAlexander: The Ultimate Cut
this June. This release will include previous Blu-ray extras, along with the original theatrical cut, a new Ultimate Cut commentary with Stone, and a new documentary, The Real Alexander and the World He Made. There will also be a 10th Anniversary box set, brimming with the goodies seen below.

Okay, why are there so many different cuts of this movie? Who could possibly watch this and think, "y'know what the one problem with this movie is? It's not long enough."

LOL I guess he wanted to REVISIT the revisted version. 4 damn cuts, this is on par with blade runner if i'm not mistaken. Pretty soon Stone needs to man up and just admit the movie sucks. Maybe put effort into another movie rather than dig up old footage? Hell why not even reboot alexander? Shoot if Michael Bay can reboot his own c**ppy transformers movies then Stone can do the same. I still don't think you could get me in the theater tho.

What was wrong with the Revisited Cut?
ABSOLUTELY LOVE Colin Farrell.
I'ved enjoyed Oliver Stone's work over the years, and I must say, its a shame to watch him go Down Hill. I know this was a Labour of Love for him and the subject matter (Alexander) is a very serious and (Could be) cinematic telling.
But I've watched the Theatrical cut, the Directors cut, the Final cut....
I don't think I have it in me to watch another cut, that's Slightly different to the past three?

I was in that. Sort of. They did a load of voice recording in a field in England. There was about 50 of us all making war noises and all sorts of stuff. I remember being accidentially punched in the mouth by a clumsy actor during a battle scene. I hear watching the movie is roughly the same experience.
It would have been great if this release included all the different cuts together. Alexander, Alexander Director's Cut, Alexander: The Final Cut and the new one, like the Blade Runner set.
According to Wikipedia, the home video releases were some of the highest selling catalogue titles for WB, which might explain why they are allowing Stone to have another go at editing the movie.

I still have to watch the roadshow cut he made and now this one to go through.
Never saw it. Guess that puts me in the majority, eh, Oliver Stone?
