Alice (US - DVD R1 | BD RA)
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has sent over details on the new mini-series
Title: Alice (IMDb)
Starring: Caterina Scorsone
Released: 2nd March 2010
SRP: $19.98
Further Details:
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($19.98) and Blu-ray ($29.98) releases of mini-series Alice for the 2nd March. As far as we know, the only extra material will be audio commentary with writer/director Nick Willing and actress Caterina Scorsone. We've attached our first look at the official package artwork for the DVD release below:

Quote: Alice Hamilton, a fiercely independent twenty-something suddenly finds herself on the other side of a looking glass. She is a stranger in an outlandish city of twisted towers and casinos built out of playing cards, all under the rule of the deliciously devilish Queen of Hearts. With the Queen hot on her tail, Alice isn’t certain which of the many characters of Wonderland she can trust to help her escape – and maintain a level head. For this re-imagined adaptation, writer/director Nick Willing mines the bizarre ingenuity and twisted logic of Carroll's work to create a daringly different, boldly colorful and delightfully skewed dreamscape of his own.

Always like Tim Curry....
To me, this movie had good ideas, but, didn't really execute them well. I probably won't ever buy. Wasn't bad, but, not good.

I thought the Disney 2D animated version was all right. Can't wait for the Tim Burton movie.
I enjoyed it, but I concur Tin Man was much better. I love the green shroom in the background on the cover art.
I actually enjoyed this. I'm beginning to like some of SyFy's mini-series movies. I loved Tinman and I loved this. Will be picking this up when it comes out.
i watched 1 hour of it and turned it off
just didn't like it

I really didnt care for it. Can we have one new Alice in Wonderland movie that is actually faithful instead of someone thinking they're artsy doing their own version?
I watched the first half of this, it was pretty decent. Not quite as enthralling as Tin Man, though. I'll probably pick it up eventually to finish it up.
