Pretty good for the first 25 minutes or so...it had some potential. Then it just went downhill and became really stupid. Not really worth a rental, either.

Again, Fox are dumb. Just like they did with the 2 disc dvd of Hitman, the only thing on the second disc is the digital copy, which is somthing most people won't be using. All the features will be on the first disc. What a waste of space. At the very least, Fox could have put the digital copy thing and the special features on the second disc even if there's not a lot of it. They did that with the collector's edition of Live Free Or Die Hard. But not anymore. Still trying to rip the people who go buy the dvds for more money instead of rewarding us with something more. And then, Hollywood is wondering why piracy still very popular. But it's not like I'll buy this. One of the worst films in 2007.
P.S.: Still, this dvd will have more special features than the so called special edition dvd of I Am Legend. Can't believe that Warner will be doing that. Starting now, every dvd that will come out will be better than the c**ppy Warner Brothers dvds. Even the straight to dvds, 1 disc dvds. Shame on you, Warner for screwing us of a good movie.

What's with these digital copies of the movie these days?
I thought this one was pretty good, a lot better than I expected, and one of the biggest surprises of the year, Box office wise.

I really do not want to see this. But you make a good point.

What happened Jason Lee? Unless this flick has a bout of Mallrats style swearing count me out.
Great artwork!
One thing's for sure--kids love this movie and that really is the intended audience. My son has been pestering me since I took him to see it in the theater wanting to know when it was coming out on DVD so he can undoubtedly watch it over and over and over again.
This film was a box office smash. Kids must have really dug it enough to make their parents see it twice. So that means this film is a major success and obviously doesnt need to worry about catering to film snobs who were expecting No Country for Old Chipmunks.... or There Will Be Munk.
I heard that this film was surprisingly good. It was NOTHING like the Garfield movies. Although in the cover art, Jason Lee looks like a 12 year old.
My little sister wanted to see this movie.

i loved this movie...
im 21... and i like all kinds of movies...

Looked cute. But will pass most likley.
Loved the movie, still thinks the cover makes the guy look like DeNiro
The one disc special features are okay. Not too much not too little. According to how much the 2-disc has. But I would really like to see better artwork. I mean couldn't they just use a black background because a lot of DVDs have white backgrounds. And the 2-disc has good features but I wish that it would have more. It's so much better than that c**ppy I am legend (2-disc) extras. That's for sure.
Oh I can't wait to get this movie I saw this in theaters but I want 2 see how the 2-disc looks like
so....the regular dvd has more extras than the blu-ray? wow
I will have it.
I'd hold off on the DVD buying for those planning to get the movie -- this is all part of Fox's grand scheme to get consumers to double-dip on this title six months after these editions hit shelves. One can tell by how meager the extras are -- no commentary or deleted scenes for that matter.
Yeah, the 2-disc edition isn't even worth the money. I'd recommend a rental until Fox brings another, better version out to cheat the consumers out of their money.

Is there really a need to waste a disc just for a digital copy? I really don't understand the logic. Anyway, don't even get me started on how absurd it is that this trash movie made 200mil+ domestically when so many other great films have barely made a quarter of that. What moviegoers were thinking I have no idea...well actually they weren't thinking.
I am a 34 year old hip-hop head who grew up watching horror movies and I got sucked into the cuteness factor of this movie...I wont say it was a good movie...but they were just so cute, you couldnt hate on them. Its like seeing a cute baby do something stupid....the baby is just that much cuter.

I'd rather the digital copies be on a seperate disc, I bought Resident Evil: Extinction at WalMart because I happened to be there and because it had a digital copy on the movie disc, it has no trailers at all and that's annoying!

why does jason Lee look happy on the cover? he looked stern/snarky on the poster.
Artwork added for the SE and Blu-ray editions....
so whats the point of these digital copies anyway? i mean everyone has a dvd player in their computer these days, just pop that disc in and voila, its there ready to watch.

The digital copy is mainly for download to portable devices, such as iPod models with video capability, so it basically keeps people from having to pay twice for the same movie--once on DVD and another time through iTunes--and it allows for people with other compatible portable video devices who have no legal means of having a portable copy to have it for such a device.

oh ok...that makes sense. i'll never understand who'd wanna watch a movie on such a small screen but ok, least there's a reason. didnt think of portable stuff, my mp3 player is video capable but man, i could never watch an actual movie or show on it, thats nuts. lol
