I love these new ones, Band camp especially
whats DTV?
whats DTV?
I like the Threesome pack artwork.
isn't that just a varation of the UK 4 pack?(the artwork for the DTV features).
This and the Bring It On DTV titles will only stop when people stop buying them. Obviously there is a market for these out there otherwise they wouldn't be getting made. Obviously the market doesn't visit this site, but it is out there, somewhere
Why don't they just call it 'porn with a story line'.
"Threesome Pack"...more like "C**p pack"
Took all the three last c**ppy films and made it to a pack...who would buy that????

The girl fourth from the left is fine as f|uck, and I'm going to rent this and regret it because the last two suc|ked balls and they should have stopped at Wedding.
I foresee the sight of boobage in the lead characters future.
Somebody...make it stop!!

This is stupid. The series should've stopped before the first one. None of them are the least bit funny.
Somebody's buying it!!! Plus i heard Band Camp sold pretty good none of the American Pie movies were any good and i quote
Only the sheep is un-rated?
New Zealanders rejoice!
New Zealanders rejoice!
does anyone even give a s**t about this s**t anymore?
Eugene Levy better pray Christopher Guest has another role for him.

this is just a series that won't ever quit...enough is enough already!!!
I've said this when the Naked Mile came out. Forget these sequels. Bring out American tarts. Where Jim and Michelle are now dealing with parenthood and Stiffler is their sitter.
The main thing with that series, was the relationship Jim had with his dad about becoming a responsible adult. What happened. Wait people thought it was about getting laid. STOP trying to mimic PORKY.
Get some substance and make a decent film. If I wanted to see smut, I would choose smut over this c**p.

I am known in my circle of friends for being the guy who buys the most obscure and cheesy flicks because for some reason i love movies that everyone else finds c**ppy. I also LOVED the first two American Pie movies (even if the second one was formulaically the exact same film as the first), but these DTV sequels have not piqued my interested in the slightest. To be fair, i haven't watched any of them, but i have been bored to tears by the trailers to them, so i can't see them being that good.
It seems that "American Pie" is turning into the modern day National Lampoon (not to be confused with the old-school National Lampoon responsible for Animal House and other greats)- they get together scripts for teen/college sex comedies and just keep pumping them out regardless of who is watching them. I mean, we're living in a world where Dorm Daze was not only made, but got a sequel
"C R A P P Y" is a swear word on this site? i didn't say "s**tty"- how much are we supposed to censor ourselves here?

Milk that franshise.
Y'ever notice 'ol Eugene has the EXACT SAME look on his face on every cover? Sheesh.
Love the expression on Eugene Levy's face!! LOL!! Will he still be credited as "Jim's Dad?"
Can't believe Christopher McDonald is on this.
Can't believe Christopher McDonald is on this.
YES!! They match all the other Direct to DVD artworks! And Eugene Levy even has his trademark shocked facial expression!
That face says, "Why the **** am I still here?"
Seriously, though...these not to stop.
And HagenDarth, I wouldn't put it past Universal to do something like that with this franchise after I've seen what it has become...

Eugene Levy must really try a different bank for his home loan so he doesn't have to accept these lame roles....
:-D
Why the UK though???
Why the UK though???
This is a message for Eugene Levy, if anyone can alert his attention to it....
I'm making a short film in the UK & need a lead actor. The pay is a packet of cheese, a book of stamps & whatever is left of the beer fund. It's about a man on a downward spiral...........

It's the same here. Schooling and education is so heavily considered important. As you say it's all rubbish in reality though, after 5 years+ of work experience prospective employers care little what formal education you have. That's how it is anyway. It just helps to get your first job.
What is different though is the romanticism of school. When I was last in The States I looked through an American friends years books, she had loads of them. One for each year, all we get is one when we finish secondary/high school.
Personally I hated my school experience and couldn't wait to get out. I enjoyed College much more.
Education is just as much part of our culture but the High School experience is not.

And in response to ShareDaddy - yeah, they do have their place in American society. That's what's troubling all of us, that the public is buying these inferior DTV sequels... But hey. If there's a market, I'm not gonna argue... Oh, wait, I am.

Granted the first real American Pie movie was phenomenal and broke somewhat new ground, however all of the follow-ups cannot be dissed for being exactly what they are, goofy, shtick-filled post-teen comedies. I actually liked Band Camp, thought the kid playing the Stifler relation did a fine job of acting like a Stifler. Please do not try to put too much into these movies, they do have their place in American society, weird but true.
Can't wait for American Pie: Retirement Home, with Steven Segal as an elder Stiffler...
As far as I am concerned, the last one (Naked Mile) is pure bulls--t. The only A.P. films for me are the theatricals and Band Camp.
The rest can go to hell.

So Universal is not going to take my idea of calling it "American Pie Presents: Another Fu*king Stifler?"

I know about fraternities and sororities but didn't know about the rest of what you said.
I can't see that title working outside North America, to me Beta means pre-release software :-D . We have none of that over here, you go to university and make a group of friends but that's about it.
I have heard of secondary school (aka - high school) kids going to a prom but that is very new, from the last 3-4 years. My brother went to one. We had a end of year disco but no one went as they were known to be rubbish.
School isn't the big "right of passage" over here that it is in The States. Universities are popular though.
It does surprise me quite how many high school teenage films are made each year in America, surely people get bored of them?

The reason that there are so many flicks about high school over here is that really, when it comes down to it, high school sucks. And somehow or another, films love to to romanticize it and make it look like it rocks. Sheesh, if everything were like the movies, then my scrawny Asian ass would've gotten laid when I was a second-year. But no... The fantasy outweighs the truth.

Oh, no. Please. PLEASE.
I still enjoy watching the American Pie movies, and I have to say I rate Band Camp as my favourite Pie film. However, I thought Naked Mile was pretty dire, so I'll be interested to see what this one is like..
Seriously. As long as people keep buying them, they will keep recycling this c**p over and over again. To think there was a time when I saw the 1st American Pie and enjoyed it and thought it was fun. It still is but Universal is milking this like there is no tomorrow.
Thanks Ray.

I loved Band Camp. Still haven't watched The Naked Mile, which I got as a Christmas gift in 2006. But I agree, they need to stop making these.
WILL THESE EVER END????
look Universal,You got VERY Lucky with Band Camp and cruised on by with Naked Mile...but now you are pushing your luck with this one!!!
Oh yeah and whats the story in this one anyway??? They have already blown through all the Stifflers unless its like "Stifflers cousin neighbor"

This is the 3rd DTV "American Pie." Which means their DTV collection must be making money, or they wouldn't be doing it.
Well, clearly. Still doesn't change the fact that it's a c**p product. And it's overkill. My question is, WHO'S buying this garbage??

At university over here, there are fraternities and sororities - some are social, some are service-oriented - and they all are named using Greek letters. For instance, with "National Lampoon's Animal House" from 1978, the titular "Animal House" was Delta Tau Chi (DTX - also slangily referred to as "Detox"), and in the movie, they refer to that fraternity as "Delta House". Thus, this new "American Pie" flick, I guess, is going to focus on fraternities.
In a completely other frame of mind... oh, my god. Talk about a formerly great movie franchise getting sullied. But I guess as long as there's prepubescent teenage boys who want to look at boobs and hear d*ck and fart jokes, I guess there will always be a market for these flicks.

Universal is really milking this one.
Bad or not, the last couple of American Pie DTV sequels both rank among the top selling (non-animated) DTV movies of all time. That said, I'm not interested.
there only releasing these cause for some reason they sell very good

I haven't succumbed to the "allure" of these direct to DVD releases. Friends have told me that the other two are great, but I politely pass.
The theatrical trilogy was great. That's enough for me.

No
again ?
Aren't there now 6 of these? Only the first 2 are any good, the last theatrical outing was dire (bar the Stifler dance off).
So... only Eugene Levey is the last remaining person to keep coming back to this series.
I have all the others, mostly out of curiosity, so I think I am one of the masses to blame for the continuing of this "American Pie Presents" franchise.
I apologize to all.

i know right! Will the folks at Universal underestimate the very horrid DTV stuff they keep releasing? Is not just American Pie but Bring it On as well.
