My name is Alex, and I live in Canada, or more specifically, in Port Credit, which is where part of this American Pie movie was shot. I was not present during the actual filming of some of the scenes (as I was a student, and they shot at my school over the summer months), but I was present in the school's library (where I worked for a year) when the production crew came in to scout the location. They were apparently filming a scene in the library where a guy chases a girl around through the aisles.
I'm not sure if they kept the angle, but someone mentioned to me that this was supposed to be a prequel to the original film. I don't think that's correct, though. Regardless of how good this film is, the American Pie franchise has officially turned into the next "National Lampoon" series.
(On a side note, I heard one of the crew mention that he wanted more "wit" in the scene they were shooting. Hilarious.)

Haha, full frame. Well you figure the goobers that buy these dtv flicks don't really care about the aspect ratio anyway. I mean, look at how the last one was snatched up, some morons are buying these "cinematic abortions". And, Eugene Levy, for shame, for shame.....
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
one word. Why?
Full frame - that's really taking DTV to a new level....
Talk about de-ja-vu - reminds me of a certian Police Academy series..... (also Hellraiser, Prophecy, etc)
Quick! Stop the world! I want to get off!

American Wedding was much better than American Pie 2: The Rehash. That is all.
I remeber when Eugune Levy was a good actor and when he didnt need to star in Mary-Kate and Ashley movies and in direct-to video "American Pie" sequels.... ughhhh.... maybe he will regain some credit with Christopher Guest's new film "For Your Consideration"...
Well, on a brighter note... American Wedding is not the weakest link in the series by two movies now.
Eugene Levy has SOLD HIS SOUL.....

Can these stop occuring?
Band Camp probably made a few quid off the box set of all 4. Completists will buy this, or eBay the old box and get the new 5-disc set when it inevitably comes out. That'll be how they're shifting the discs. I sincerely doubt these sell as well on their own as the original three did.

jeez someone rescue levy, his career is tanking, the last one wasn't that bad but they do need to stop with the franchise I am surprise jason biggs isn't back, he's been awol the last couple years
Eugene, if you want a job then I need my garden fence sandpapered & re-varnished, also the bench needs another coat. I'll give you £30 plus unlimited tea, better than doing American Pie innit?
PLEASE!!!!! NOT AGAIN!
We all know the original and 2 are the REAL slices of the pie!

Umm... they should have stopped BEFORE American Pie.

Eugene Levy will be in any movie if his check clears. How he has not yet been in a Uwe Boll movie is beyond me.

Besides, the full-frame only proviso applies only to the full-screen version.

Yep, it'll be just as bad as Band Camp. What a way to ruin a franchise- and I thought Wedding was a step in the wrong direction!

I really could have lived without #3 ruining the "American Pie" name. These others are OK, I'm sure I'll get this one too, if it's reasonably priced. (Damn "only Full Screen" though!)

I can't believe they made another one of this "film" series. All four(?) of them have sucked hard. Not funny in the least. Completely predictable and none of the "movies" had one scene that someone with more than half a brain cell would laugh at. Just horrible. Ugh.
oh lord.

Half the budget is probably his salary... why would he do this garbage?

What a joke.
a little person! how funny!
A friend of mine was an extra in this movie when they shot in Toronto. He said he saw enough tits to last him 5 lifetimes. Still looks like a pile of c**p. Didn't see the previous one and won't be seeing this one. Why Eugene. WHY???
The guy who probably feels like a complete ass is ole Chris Klien. He begged out of number 3 and since then, he has starred in Roller Ball and a number of "huh?" movies nobody has seen (save "We Were Soldiers" ).
Oddly enough, Klien has been in two "American" projects; "American Dreamz" and "American Dad - With Friends Like Steves" (did the voice). He may just start eyeing a return for Number 6 and 7; American Pie Presents: Lacrose Camp and American Pie Presents: Choir Camp. Both star Klien as the nutty head dean at both places (He is fired from the Lacrose camp for improper shower singing, LOL). Levy stars as the "mentor" to Klien and ends up in jail when he tries to teach a class of proper masturbation techniques to the sophmore girls class.....LOL
I may have just described the exact story premise for the next two American Pie Presents fillms! Wouldn't that be scary.

Sorry, I may be the only one here, but I love the American Pie franchise (including Band Camp), but another one? And to think, less than a year has gone by...
Oh, my dear, sweet Christ. What the hell?! I hope that this is just a contractual obligation that Eugene Levy has to fulfill...
Dont do this to us.
Oh yeah I can't wait...and bring on that new version of Bring it On while your at it...dear god. This is worse than double dipping, at least you know then what your getting is the decent flick with a little extra, this is just c**p upon more c**p. Is Universal trying to beat Sony at it's own game?
It's in Full Frame only...
That tells alot about its intended target audience...
Destined to be the funniest American Pie movie since Band Camp! I'll just wait for the two disc collector's edition.

Mother of god.
This has shown up on some lists with an expected HD-DVD release.... seems like a waste of a good format to me. I'd expect something like this on Blur-ray, but not HD-DVD. (I say that now when I'll end up watching it at some point.) Damn these demons!
So they are still keeping "Jim's Dad" in this franchise so that it still has some credibility?
I read the Band Camp movie only costed like $15M to produce, so it must have profitted big time for Universal to green light this.

What ignorant morons actually think "wow - I MUST see this?"

Dang, who knew this would become the franchise cashcow that it has? I guess Band Camp did well for them.
Universal are doing very well with these DVD movies, so expect more.
