I've never seen this! I really need to get a move on
I just bought that movie! I really want to double dip but I don't know, seeing as I just got it a couple months ago.
I have the out of print DTS dvd en route. I can only presume that the features on the old disc are the same as this one with the exception of the full length "Beware The Moon" documentary.
It doesn't sound like there's much in the way of new extras.

If you consider a feature-length documentary (as well as an additional new featurette) not much.

Guess I'll pick this up to help out John Landis, since that whole legal issue with Michael Jackson's estate over the royalties from Thriller probably won't be settled for years to come.....
Gonna buy the BD no doubt.
I had the HD-DVD edition, the picture quality was s**te. Would like to see a remastered print..

Can someone explain to me why certain blu rays don't resume play? I just bought the X-Men trilogy on blu ray and it is frustrating that I either have to keep it paused for extended periods of time or commit myself to watching the movie or featurette for the duration of the run. It's so unbelievably frustrating that such a basic feature is a luxury on a really expensive set.

someone correct me if i'm wrong but i think it has to do with Java. some movies use that for the menus and things and apparently that causes issues. so the java enabled discs dont resue playback.

Average art work.

I honestly don't usually care about packaging or artwork, but Jebus that's bad.

I liked the last DVD's artwork MUCH better.
Not a bad cover for AWIL. Though I'll pick up for no more than $20.
Artwork could have been WAY cooler, "Full Moon Edition" who comes up with this c**p?

I've noticed that "resume play" works on my Sony BD player with Sony discs - I was watching "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" this weekend, and I turned it off before I left my house. When I got back, I pushed Play instead of the power-on button, and it resumed. It doesn't usually work with other studios' discs, but it works on my regular "M*A*S*H" DVD.
I wonder, though, if it has something to do with the fact that I have a 2-gig flash drive hooked up (via USB) to it because for some reason, additional memory is required to play "Starship Troopers"...
But I am kind of curious to see "An American Werewolf in London" remastered. How Blu-Ray treats older films is quite interesting to me!

Maybe for resume play, you need to ensure that your BD player has its firmware up to date...

And is it too much to hope for trailers?
