Yeah it's out in Australia on the 7th Oct! Why can't we get good titles before you guys do?
November! F**k that, i'll import it, comes out in the UK in 2 weeks.
Yeah, me too, that's what i'll do
Besides, the transfer will be the same i guess no ?

I missed this in the theatre. I'll rent it, for sure.
I was another one that missed this one in theaters. I'll defintely get this one off of Netflix. I'm still waiting for "Nigt at the Museum," "Hangover" and "Harry Potter."
I'm disappointed in the little extra features.
The full details haven't been revealed yet moviewizguy. Should have more details next week
I really liked this movie, and the cover is pretty awesome, though I could do without the characters on the bottom.
Much better paced, more concise and much more entertaining than The Da Vinci Code. But still, a fairly mediocre film. Although, it is nice to see Ayelet Zurer getting more roles in hollywood, I did like her a lot in Munich, despite her fairly small role in it.
finally... im not liking the cover... oh well.. i'll get it

any word on how much longer the extended version is?
The extended version of Da Vinci was a lot better than the theatrical.

Very nice! A much much better improvement over Da Vinci Code. At last, a sequel that's both suspenseful as well as entertaining.
I liked this film alot more than Davinci Code. Pacing was way better and there were alot more action-oriented scenes.
Got my 1st Blu Ray player and HDTV last week. Looking forward to watching extended cut. It sucks that DVD owners are getting the shaft on Extras.

Battle of the Smithsonian is scheduled for a October 27th release, same day as Orphan.

I'll be snagging both Da Vinci and Angels & Demons if there's a deal.

Oh finally. Hope so! Let's hope I get that on that particular date instead of "Orphan" and the horribly disastrous "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs."
Just curious, where did you hear about that?

I'm uber excited about creating my own Hans Zimmer score! That's one of the coolest features I've ever heard of.
wow, so dvd people have to buy the movie a second time to own both versions? thats just rude.
as for the lack of extras, the second photo does show a little list of things but its too small to read.

I did enjoy the underrated Da Vinci Code, so I might like this more or vise-versa since everyone thinks that A&D was better than DVC? Nevertheless, I'll still Netflix this. Glad to see the BD is getting both theatrical and extended cuts. I wonder which one I should see. Probably, the theatrical cut just to be safe. I like both artworks, but I like the red-tinted cover better.

I'm not waiting for T4 - didn't like that one.

Tom Hanks should go back in Comedy. All these serious movies suck.

Same here. That's pretty much the deciding factor for me on whether to get this or not.

Kudos for releasing the extended cut right away, though, unlike Da Vinci. I recently NetFlixed the extended cut of Da Vinci and actually enjoyed it. This looked really good from the previews, so I will NetFlix this one as well.
And yeah, that Hans Zimmer studio thing sounds pretty cool.

Found the climax and twists of this film very underwhelming. I prefer The Da Vinci Code to this, although I enjoyed the iilluminati stuff. Both films are nothing special. Hanks is stlll a great actor/ producer.
Horrible cover art.

Well I'm glad that the 2-disc DVD is actually getting some special features; I was pretty alarmed when it said it would include the extended cut only. Anyways, this movie was surprisingly enjoyable and much, much better than "The Da Vinci Code". I wasn't bored at all throughout the movie, and the plotline was very intriguing and fun to watch unfold. Can't wait to rewatch it again on DVD.
I didn't get to see this in theaters.. I couldn't stand the first film but the reviews were split right down the middle for this one. And Hans Zimmer's score is incredible. Going to have to check this one out on blu. Awful cover art though..
At least they got rid of his mullet for this one!

Wil buy it in the UK, since it will be the same Blu-Ray ...
