This is a great show and I loved it as a kid, but I'm not sure if it's worth a purchase.
OMG!! ITS ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is mine on release day, 2nd favorite cartoon growing up, along with Batman: The Animated Series, Tiny Toon Adventures, and Rocko's Modern Life...
They need to release the last two on DVD as well...

I lost interest in waiting for a DVD release when they started rerunning these on Nicktoons channel, along with Rocko.
I like the cover.
How many episodes are on it?

What's up with the cover for God's sake!?
It's bold, colourful, fun, has a well placed colouful title and it has the Animaniacs on it. What were we expecting?
To me that's a classic cover for what covers are there for. It bold, it's uncluttered, it displays the title and the cast perfectly and catches the eye and sticks out. Which is everything a cover should do.
The 'awful cover' remark gets so overused on this site.

Animaniacs and Pinky & The Brain are da bomb!
Great show. I never used to miss it as a kid but I don`t think I can purchase it despite the really cool cover. If this came out a few years ago when I was a little younger, I might have picked it up.
Good show back in the day and I going to get this one.
I gotta get this
yeah, I loved this as a kid but I don't think I would enjoy it very enough today to purchase unless it were a greatest hits sort of deal.
Having said that, if there were a PINKY & THE BRAIN set, well. . .

Definitely worth the purchase. The pop culture references went right over my head when I was a kid; they make the show so much more hilarious.
where's my Freakazoid?

Pinky and the Brain will have their own DVD Volume set and will be released the same day Animaniacs comes out.

Am I the only one that collects DVDs of filsm and TV shows I like(d)? I like to save my memories so I can revisit them later on. I rarely watch any of my DVDs unless someone I know wnats to see the movie.

YOU JUST MADE MY DAY!!!! I will definitely be picking this and P&TB up! Now all that needs to be put on DVD is the sometimes c**ppy sometimes interesting Men In Black animated series. That was cool.

Hell I do the same, thats why I bought all the volumes of the classic Tom and Jerry series. This is gonna be an awesome set, I really want to see Rocko's modern life come out on DVD as well as the Spiderman series from the early 90s...ahhh the marvel action hour...pure bliss

HAHAHA. exactly!
the love I have for this show is undefined. this and The Tick shaped my childhood. i'll try to buy this ... if I have money...
look how wonderful cartoons were 10 years ago! what happened? too many cartoons these days are running around with pointy features, and without inspired lunacy. it makes me feel dogmatic.

THIS SHOW ROCKS! I saw it all the time when I was a kid, this is a sure buy!
Can't wait to pick this one up, and I heard someone mention Pinky and the Brain is coming that day too! I can't wait!! Loved both those shows!!
Adding to the subject of Pinky and the Brain, TVShowsonDVD.com has news that the first season of that show will also arrive on July 25! The story, including cover art is at: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID...
I'll pick this up. Loved watching this show. It was funny. Especially the theme song. Wish they would change the cover art though.
