I liked that poster, and that works wonderfully as a BluRay cover. Perfect color palette.

Heard mixed things about this. Heard it was very inconsistent, but I also heard from some it was very well done. Definitely will get this on Blu considering this will look amazing.
Also, much like "The Tree of Life," no standard Dvd edition? It seems like Fox is the only company that just puts out Blu-Ray/Dvd/Digital Copy combo packs. I remember "Buried" had both a Dvd and a Blu-Ray, but the Dvd was so much harder to find. Only that was Lionsgate - I believe.

That's a beautiful cover! I've been waiting to see this for a long time. Might blind-buy it.
This and Von Trier's "Melancholia" would make for a very interesting double feature (completely opposite sides of the spectrum though).

Sony does this with their Sony Picture Classics label, and I noticed Universal did this with the recent Bridesmaids release. The DVD comes in standard packaging but includes a Blu-ray disc.

I saw this as part of a film festival and I was very impressed. Possibly my favorite film of the year so far and I've watched nearly every major release (eg. HP7.5, X-men First Class, Super8, Cowboys & Aliens, Captain America, etc).
I left the cinema thinking about the film and looking up into the sky for that second earth... Just what I love happening after I come out of the theater :-)
Just don't watch the trailer as it pretty much spoils most of the film *sigh*

Bridesmaids did have a DVD-only edition.
Anyway, Another Earth looks amazing. Can't wait to see it.
