[quote=I will agree with you on "Adam & Steve" it was horrid.[/quote]
"Adam & Steve's" downfall was that it thought it could get away with being a trite gross-out comedy because it has the novelty of having the romantic duo being two men. But the gimmick ran out of steam pretty quickly.

Potato-potahto. It's said that their porn releases actually have more class than their mainstream DVDs. I mean, "Adam & Steve" was pretentious and abyssmal, while I won't even mention "Feed."
That is 2 titles out of their 115 films that they've released. Its not like they make the movies. They just release them. I will agree with you on "Adam & Steve" it was horrid.
"Feed" which is by far a great movie was at least entertaining.
They do have many films that are very good though. To dismiss them totally is not right due to a couple bad films.
I don't know of any company that has only released stellar films.

This is one of those movies that you really do have to watch to appreciate it. I've seen it 2 times and thought it was funny and great both times.
Can't wait to buy the DVD.

The 2 guys in front are very hot and if this is ever released in America I'll gladly rent it... with the sound off!

The DVD is released in region 1 on the 21st November, cover is almost the same but they will be getting two versions - a censored rated version and the unrated theatrical. I might add the details later if I can find some time.

Well, I have wanted to see this for a little while. What with being "a gay" and all that, I've not heard great things but it looks like it may be worth a rent. Its only just come out (pun intended) in the US Cinemas, so it looks like we get it first!
Quite simply - no.
Here's a "shocker." Apparently, "TLA Releasing" is a subsidiary of a gay porn company.

That part of it actually appeals to me - taking off American Pie. The picture of the Quiche on the cover instead of the pie made me laugh out loud.
I don't believe it is supposed to be a high brow sociological commentary on the gay community.

When a decent sized subcultured is only represented by two mainstream releases every year it hurts everyone involved for them to be trash.

Gay or not, a bad movie is a bad movie I suppose, which is good to know. It's this garbage that sets back any strides Brokeback Moutain made into the mainstream.
I felt the same way about what American Pie did for the hetrosexual community...
It's just a film people, it doesn't have to have some sort of polotical or social agenda...
It's nice if it's good though. A comedy should be funny, a horror should be scary, a thriller should be tense etc. This looks like it's meant to be a comedy, and by all accounts it's simply not funny, therefore might as well have not been made.

Someone should send a copy of this film to Africa, in case they're wondering down there where the Americans are spending their money if not on relieving world poverty as they promised.
Not trying to be political, just simply that I think this was a terrible way to spend money from what I've heard about it, and it provides no justification for its existence whatsoever.

WTF !?!?!?
Says so at the bottom. Oooooh, I said 'bottom' in a gay movie thread.
Doesn't this have Scott Thompson from Kids in the Hall in it? He's funny.
I'll gladly pass!!!
