i agree 100%...but remember that Cars is american-made naimation, and it is mainly for kids.
I love Luc Besson, but the animation looked very rough. They really look like plastic figures. I'll probably catch it on HBO or something.
Luc Besson should keep making tense, action-drama films, not kiddie flicks. I like most of the guy's stuff, but this movie was a mess.
I loved this movie.cant wait to buy it!
Me too, I LOVED this movie. I'll be getting it. I lovd the animation. They didn't look plastic, The were similiar looking to the creatures in The dark crystal.
besides "leon" (which isn't really as good as its reputation would imply), has luc besson directed a good movie?
for one, i'm glad is his "final" movie.

I read somewhere that Besson is making two sequels to this movie because it was a hit in france.

I take it you haven't seen Angel-A yet? Or you have never seen/heard of The Big Blue, La Femme Nikita, plus the enormous list of movies he's written scripts for.
And to say such a thing about Leon...shame on you.

The fifth element is on my top 10 of all times films. I REALLY enjoyed this film. Just because a movies doesn't do well in America doesn't make it a flop.
This director thinks out of the box and is sometimes the box of most americans is too small to get someones vision.
I'll be definitely be getting this.
