I wanted to see this, but I stopped myself because everyone was saying its terrible, including critics. No reason in wasting money on something you're not gonna like. The only reason I would of wanted to see this is because of Russell Brand's comedy.
"Over 10 minutes of nonstop Russell..."
That's over 11 minutes too many for my liking.

One of the worst films of 2011. Gag reel as a special feature? Not so, I already did this at the theater. Many times trying to watch this.
I wanted to take my girlfriend to see this. Never got around. I'm not surprised that the original is better but I heard it was okay, not great, not terrible. Might rent.
This film comes with deleted scenes - you would have thought that the whole thing would be classed as prevously unseen material because nobody watched the film at the cinema...
Oh, and check out the hilarious airbrushing on Helen Mirren, not to mention the pinching in of her waist despite the fact that she looks great for her age.

I hated take me home tonight but enjoyed hall pass. I wasnt expecting much from hall pass though so that might be why it worked well for me
same as take me home tonight. trailer was funny...movie was not. (same thing with hall pass) and damn if jennifer garner's feet don't look huge on the cover!!!
I didn't mind this one. Not sure if it I will buy it right away, but I want to see it again someday.
This movie was just terrible.
A friend wanted to see "Arthur", impulsively bought the ticket without my approbation (I was in the bathroom when this happened, she was in the box office), then expected a reimbursement, and I did not want to see this movie at all as though I knew it'd be awful.
"Arthur" is just not funny. At all. It didn't make me smile, laugh, heartbroken. If anything, I want to punch Russell Brand in the face.

I do t mind the cover art, I like the colors. The film was ok, of course the original was better but it was mildly amusing, worth seeing. It has it heart in the right place and that helps it in the end.
BTW Warner is really skimping on features lately, even on blurays. Basically this just has cut footage but they put it as 3 sections to make it look like more. A comparison to the original would have been welcome or smethingng else.

I love Luis Guzman, Greta Gerwig, and Helen Mirren, but this just looked painfully unfunny.
